Think it's a no brainer, if he can be recalled. Maybe not straight into the XI but in and around the team for the next few weeks. Injury/Suspension to Sheaf and we're screwed.

No, I get that. But they are only humans. Having a few thousands willing you to do well, or willing you to fail will have an effect. Like I said though, I think the effect maybe more apparent on the officials.

It's been said many times by many pros that fans do lift players. Anyway, I'm more worried about the officials than our players. I wouldn't be surprised to see a contentious decision go against us in this one. I'd guess that our centre halves will be penalised for fouling Akinfenwa a fair bit.

All depends on how this season goes for Max and that may boil down to how MR approaches the remaining games tactically. Personally don't see a Godden/Walker partnership being as successful as a Max +1. We may well find a "better Max" next summer, should we stay up but I can also see him...
