We could do all that.
Alternatively, we could all just sit at home in our grubby little pants, eating Gregg's chicken and mushroom pasties and watching Strictly Come Dancing whilst moaning like wittering old grannies on football forums.
To my mind that central.midfield would get totally destroyed.
I'd like to see us maybe go for a 4-5-1. Strengthen the midfield.

There have been a number of long balls over the top from opposition teams for a few weeks now. It appears managers have found our achilles heel and know we lack pace and that they can outmuscle us too.
Been 4 or 5 goals at least that have come from long high balls sent in to the edge of our box.
Never understood the 'cos we lost the last one I'm not going to the next one' standpoint.
Think the only reason I would consider not going would be because I felt the players weren't trying or putting the required effort in.
At the moment they clearly are. Seems to me we ARE trying hard enough...
Yes, with us, it's not deliberate. We go to kick the ball with our right leg, completely miss and then the ball bounces off the other leg by accident.
Not quite up to the standard of this Spurs player's shot. Think he meant his.;)
Totally agree. We were good enough to stay up that season and we would have had a fighting chance if we had, had a proper manager at the helm.
Unfortunately Andy Thorn turned out to be Mike Bassett.
