got to love the quote " over in france we had a stadium of 17,000 and crowds of 7,000"
well this year we will have a stadium of 33,000 and a crowd of 7,000:D
bless him
to put another suggestion into this thread ..( but for christs sake don't tell sisu because they might do it) i would pay a grand for my son to come on for the last 10 minutes of a match..yes he might get booed but it would be one hell of a birthday present..and sisu could just pretend he was...
Pretty sure he said, they asked me to stay on. I told them things needed to change, they gave me assurances it would.
yes but when they said they would make changes he did not realise they meant giving him even fewer resources
yes for sure ...in my totaly unimaginative way i do every match as a 1-1 draw and got a message saying because it is knock out stages you have to pick a result.. and penalties and extra time are included
well my wife came home from work today and told me theres a rumor going round that i have a 12" dick........i told her i know... i started it.....(copyright roy chubby brown)
the other difference is back then our first division wages were a big leap for the players coming in..now we cant even afford our own third division wages hence why we sell anyone whos on a remotely good contract.
god its depressing ..we are now on a par with crawley and stevenage..it makes you pine for the days when we could spend 6 million on robbie keane..plus his wages on top..now we can't even afford to sign free transfers..and these teams will be playing us expecting to beat us not just trying to...
why dont they just say .. we still have 3 months rent to pay on the store so rather than it standing empty we are putting all the old crap in there before the creditors can repossess it ..
I am not sticking up for them there gamble was to sell everyone and hope thorn pulled off a miracle and kept us up and we would therefore basically be running at a sustainable rate. But it backfired and now we are buggered
