He seemed to me to be talking completely at odds to all the City fans who went and have commented on here and on the radio, who all appear to be saying we should have lost.

Earlier he read out a text from someone saying Thorn has to go and he Linnell just had to say, 'That's your opinion.' He said it in a way that made out the texter was wrong and that he was right. Never says anything to the pro-thorn posts. Thought the Beeb were supposed to be impartial.

I would most certainly have taken that before the game, so I am quite happy. Especially as it sounds like we were battered at times.
