Are you free on Mondays Muslims are allowed in pubs mate.

    Wasps Again

Yeah I poked Turner on Twitter. No reply but he was defending himself about the wall story. I like CWR cos it’s live and they can’t ignored you.

Ah the pub, that famously impenetrable fortress.

I agree. So what do we do? We can either take over the current Trust, set up an opposing group, or go around them direct to the media. I suggested calling into CWR or Twitter bombing local media until they respond. If the Trust won’t get the answers we need who can or how can we get them ourselves?

Keep going. How is that unfair on him and not me exactly?

    Wasps Again

Legally they are. There can only be one supporters trust recognised I believe. Havung read the FB forum they probably do represent the majority of fans as the majority are horrendously misinformed. Nothing stopping this forum setting up a group and trying to get media attention, putting out...

Not calling him out. Just the only example I know of anyone even attempting to do anything. Also, classic Dom, you seem to be confused. How is me posting something he can see firing shots? He can respond, knowing I won’t see it. You’ve really not thought this through have you?

    Wasps Again

Theres fucking loads of issues with the trust. The main one is that the only people who can be arsed to get involved don’t seem to represent the wider fan base or ask the right questions of the actors involved. The way to resolve that issue is to: a) accept its a busted flush and stop...

    Wasps Again

Why would it? How does that gerrymander to those that are against its current direction exactly? It doesn’t. The fact is that if people wanted to they could get involved. I seem to remember Grendel was all billy big bollocks about running for the board until he actually had to do something then...

    Wasps Again

Then stop whining cos you clearly value your other commitments and opposition to a pub two minutes from the City centre more than changing the direction of the trust. Make sense? Or should I break out the crayons, you absolute lemon peeler?

    Wasps Again

Literally told you I left cos they’re shite and I can’t be arsed to get involved. It’s almost like you can’t read.

    Wasps Again

Again. Why are those sympathetic to Wasps (if that’s what you think the issue is) are more likely to live in Coventry? You’re claiming the timing and location of meetings is why the (apparently) vast majority of reasonable City fans who think like you can’t go. I’m saying that’s ridiculous.
  13. shmmeee

    Wasps Again

Dunno. Why don’t you turn up and ask the question?
  14. shmmeee

    Wasps Again

Do you think CJ was born into the board? Like The Queen? Or did he perhaps turn up, get involved, get elected? Jesus you really are dim.

    Wasps Again

    I repeat

    Wasps Again

No idea. I think you have to go to the AGM. Which brings us back to the question of why Monday at the Albany is particularly hard for people to get to.
  17. shmmeee

    Wasps Again

“They” are their members. You can join. They can be you. Why is this so hard to grasp?
  18. shmmeee

    Wasps Again

Im not. I left years ago because they’re shite. But I’m also not here whining that a group I won’t get involved in doesn’t listen to me.
  19. shmmeee

    Wasps Again

They do. The board is elected. That’s asking the members. If you want a different board you join, stand as a board member and convince enough people to elect you.

If you want to change the direction of a democratic group you need to build a majority within that group. This is not rocket science.
