How do we legitimise our voice?

Off the top of my head: Indemnity - Such a clause has the potential to bankrupt the club through no fault of their own. Any potential unlawful actions would be between CCC and Wasps. Legals - While these are ongoing we cannot rebuild our relationship with the city and need that to return...

How do we legitimise our voice?

That would imply Wasps have detailed and intimate knowledge of state aid procedures and can judge such a case. I doubt that’s the case.

How do we legitimise our voice?

Id lose the kisses at the end :p edit: In all seriousness the only bit I’m not sure on is commenting on going to games. It can be divisive. Not against, just not sure. Good work otherwise. Maybe explain why the indemnity clause needs dropping (and the legals for balance)

How do we legitimise our voice?

You need be careful not to just be anti existing groups as it allows people to write you off and alienates a section of the fan base. Needs a position most fans can get behind that forces others to expose themselves.

How do we legitimise our voice?

Happy to help where I can. I got no mates and have never written a press release or know how but if I can do something count me in.

    Things that annoy you

I looked into it when my boss told me it was normal. 96% of companies pay above the minimum sick pay apparently.

How do we legitimise our voice?

I will say, the Supporters Trust has an actual aim and point. It’s not a protest group despite impressions. They are there to increase fan involvement with the running of the club. Any actions should in theory be aligned with that. I’m not convinced they’re set up for the job at hand.

How do we legitimise our voice?

As for OP, I’d say in a nutshell: - Build a list of supporters. Perhaps a petition, through social media and IRL friendship/fan groups - Put our press releases to coincide with events. The press just wants quotes and controversy to sell papers they don’t have some big ideological point to...

How do we legitimise our voice?

Look at militant in Labour in the 80s. A good knowledge of the rule book and a few well drilled members can do a lot. AGM is the obvious place. Board elections but also motions that resolve the Trust to do something. Build a group of likeminded Trust members, or people who will join, craft a...

Match Thread Coventry City v Bristol Rovers - Tuesday 14th January 2020

Here you go, found it. Lots from this thread. I make the headline though so obviously I’m the best. City fans discuss possible changes for Bristol Rovers cup clash

What a shock... the trust "speak up"

Standard reminder that you can raise a motion for the Trust AGM and vote by proxy. Would just take a small amount of organisation and a well formed motion (insert fibre joke here) to force some change.

    General Election 2019 thread

You're biology aren’t you? I’d guess research funding is a big influence there. That’s the other piece of the puzzle. Totally. Was having this conversation with my daughter recently when she asked why all her mates parents were going mental about the 11+. I’d hope if they were just one...

    New TV series 2019

The LSD episode (9 I think) I was on the edge of my seat. I suppose in hindsight there’s a lot less of that as he’s not killing so much this season. Maybe recency bias as that’s the last one I watched.
