Crewe V SKYBLUES ... MATCH thread...........

To be fair we've got a very good record against the teams we've never ever played before.

    Will McGoldrick start today?

Said in the CT that he was signed in time.

Maybe far away Or maybe real nearby He may be pouring her coffee She may be straighting this tie! Maybe in a house All hidden by a hill She's sitting playing piano, He's sitting paying a bill So maybe now it's time, And maybe when I wake They'll be there calling me "Baby"... Maybe.

So, who'd swap Jennings for Clingan?

I think it is fair to say that apart from the passing, skill, pace, forward intent, heart, passion and attitude, Clingan is just as good as Jennings.

Closing the Back Rows, Opening Block 14

No worries. I don't wish to see anyone moved or rows closed in any blocks. Should have made that clear in my argument. Just think the club could get away with closing rows in 15/16 and in 20 they simply wouldn't get away with it cos the crinklies would be outraged and write in to the...

But saying someone is maybe a 'miserbale old c..t' is quite insulting so nullifies your argument. That just comes across as aggressive abuse.:thinking about:

Closing the Back Rows, Opening Block 14

WTF? If I had have advocating Blocks 15/16 I would have said 'they should close rows in 15/16.' My whole argument is that there would have been more of an uproar in Blocks 20 and the OAP's would have been up in arms, whereas the club have moved fans around before in 14,15,16...

Closing the Back Rows, Opening Block 14

Yes indeed. Maybe is the key word there. 'Maybe.' I wasn't saying it was right, merely what I thought the club could get away with. I wasn't in any way shape or form advoctaing it. Clear now?

Closing the Back Rows, Opening Block 14

Don't usually do it much at all, but the over use was because you totally missed the point and in no way was I saying it is wrong to move people in Block 20 but fine in Blocks 15/16. It did irk me somewhat cos you seemed to be accusing me of saying things I most certainly did not say. 'Bold' for...

So, who'd swap Jennings for Clingan?

Indeed. It's like saying who would you prefer to look after your kids, Nanny McPhee or Gary Glitter?

Disagree. My parents never used to be like that and have changed and talking to other friends with older parents they have all said the same, that as their parents have got older they have bcome more entrenched in their routines and to an almost disturbing degree. If it's got nothing to do...

Old people are set in their ways Rich. You won't be able to change them. Take my mum and dad for instance. Both 82. Incredibly set in their ways, won't change. Tried reasoning with them with no success. They don't drive and walk to Asda to do their shopping every Tuesday and Friday. Rain...

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D I'm sure we'd all love the Ricoh to be noisy. Can I just add I was just as vehement when the club closed blocks before (14/15?) and I have never ever sat there.

It's nonsense to say that our support will always be quiet. It's not nonsense and I didn't say our support will always be quiet if you'd care to read what I said again. I said certain areas of the ground will always be quiet. I have been going up since the 1960's and the Main Stand has...

And totally agree with that. Something I have never witnessed. This is my first season in Block 20 and it is indeed deathly quiet. Some don't even speak let alone sing!

Closing the Back Rows, Opening Block 14

The people in Block 20 on the whole don't seem to mind any cheering or clapping on the Sky Blue Song, but my guess is they wouldn't like any of the swearing or aggressive chants. Seems abundantly clear to me. I see many of these OAP's struggle to their seats and taking ages to get up the steps...

Closing the Back Rows, Opening Block 14

It's been quiet and will always been so. You can't change the way people are. It will always be relatively quiet in certain areas of the ground! The bloke in the row in front of me I guess would be well in his 70's. He brings his transistor radio and just sits there quietly never ever saying a...
