    Preston at home.

Massive difference here, Coundon. Forest and Leshtur have had success. Promotions, play-offs, cups. They are used to success and therefore the JPT to them would be of much lower priority. For us, starved of success for so long, this cup is so, so much more important. Just don't think you can...

    Preston at home.

Cheers Ferret! I think it will be quite a bit better than the Sheff U attendance for sure.

    Preston at home.

It has to be more than 12,000 surely. It is only a fiver. No excuse really. And SBT, I think the game passed Barton by. Yep, he didn't get it to feet much, but when he did he was closed down and not allowed time on the ball. Would say Barton is exactly the wrong type of player to play against...

    Frank Lampard

Frank Sidebottom perhaps, but not Frank Lampard.

I'd never want to get back to the Premiership...

Yer, very good point. It's like going to see a show or concert every two weeks and people simply don't do this and most would probably say they can't afford to either.

    Preston at home.

1 win and a draw. We only need to beat Preston on penalties remember!! I am convinced we will be better against Preston this time round. Last time we played Barton in the midfield and I think it was too physical a type of game for him. We need some strength and grit in the middle of the park...

    Frank Lampard

Bugger! Thought you were going to say we were getting him on loan!!

    I love the FA cup

It used to be that every single team would play their full strength teams in every single game. Now they have bigger fish to fry with the likes of the Champions League etc. Gaz, I think the strength of the FA Cup now lies in the opening 2 or 3 first rounds. There comes the unpredictability!

I'd never want to get back to the Premiership...

Yeah, but when you go to see the Lion King or Les Mis or Phantom you know you are going to be entertained and you know it will be high quality. How many quality games have we had this season here at the Ricoh? Okay, so it's £20+, but very few of those games have been worth the money. £50 to go...

I'd never want to get back to the Premiership...

Would price me out of it for sure. As much as I love the City I simply cannot see me paying over £40 a ticket. Sadly I think it would turn me into an armchair fan.

The Senior Generation of Sky Blue Fans

I started watching the City in about 1968 I think. Now is as important as ever it has been. This season should have seen an automatic promotion challenge, but those first few games before MR came in really, really hurt us and put us on the back foot. Said on a number of occasions, the...

He does stick his foot in though. Usually when the ball is over the other side of the pitch, mind.

    I love the FA cup

Yep. Used to watch from the first minute right through to the end of the game. Always used to pick a team to support on the day. Now it is just the same faces winning it year in year out and I really cannot bear to see Man U or Chelsea keep winning it or the rest of the elite bunch year after...

    Tottenham v Coventry match thread

Always quite like Spurs and always favour them in the North London derby. Alan Sugar? Chas and Dave? Ossie? Hoddle? Greaves? Who knows, but always had a soft spot for them.

Baker, Jennings, Fleck, Christie, Barton. Take your pick.

    I love the FA cup

In the past I wouldn't miss the FA Cup final for the world. Would watch the whole day and used to get so excited. As I say, in the past. The way it is now I haven't even bothered to watch the last 5 years. Such a shame.
