    Today's ref

Didn't see the whole of it, but if it's the guy I'm thinking of, he was smirking and staring out the City support and was bang out of order. Go celebrate with your own fans - fine (nobody has a problem with that, but to face up to away fans (when they don't even know who the player's name is)...

    East Midlands Supporters Club

Good luck with this folk; these sort of clubs do a lot to cement our support, build networks and friendships. Good stuff, hope it works out.

    Wasps downward spiral...

Out of curiosity - how many turned up at The Ricoh yesterday? (I was at Walsall, before anybody thinks I am interested in W*sps in a positive way!) Sorry just read back through the thread. Some of their big names are buggering off next year (something to do with salary caps - it's all heading...

    Abuse of players by fans

Our fans were snarling at the end of yesterday, but that was partly shock at letting in the 2 late goals. Chelsea won that game 2-0, so should all have had happy smiles on their faces? No excuse either way, but even less understandable is the snarling when your side hasn't just been 'robbed!'...

Yes. that was it - a fairly simple pass to execute - and he would have been in on goal.

    Today's ref

Glad it wasn't just me. Thomas got hit throat high by the defender in the second half and the ref just waved play on. The lino missed the ball go out of play twice that I saw, and was behind play for several balls in the first half when Walsall attacked, missing at least one blatant offside...

Hopefully that will help us keep him for the rest of the season - he will be hard to replace.

Was at the game. Having watched the highlights back, Luke Thomas needed to drag the ball inside and it was a goal. Didn't show the JCH chance - wanted to see that again as couldn't see how close it was - convinced it was in when it went past the keeper. There was a ball that Shippers should have...

    relegation mode

I just want to see us improving as a team as the season progresses, and enjoying the games. Frustrated as we are, it is already better than last time we were in League 1 , when we were treated to dire stuff. Clearly one issue is finding a replacement for Thomas (if we lose him in December) -...

Probably mentioned elsewhere, but nice to see Max Biamou sat amongst the City fans.

What do people want the FA / EFL to do?

Sorry if it's been discussed already, but surely SISU can't let CCFC go belly up. otherwise they would have to write off their investment and it would create an immediate big hole in their accounts - and they would then have to hand the golden share back? Can't see them allowing that to happen.

Most likely outcome for the club next season.

It's not that people aren't bothered, but unless we all want to turn up in Sky Blue vests and impact every Wasps game (gilets jaunes style) which won't happen. then I'm not sure what we can do. Can't easily influence SISU?

4-4-2 for Saturday, I think ? (trying to forget about this stuff, for now - it's the CCFC equivalent of Brexit)

Can't remember who, but didn't some manager base his tactics around a statistician who showed that as most goals were scored from one area of the pitch (i.e the final third - don't laugh), that manager then insisted in the long ball all the time, i.e. getting the ball in the final third...

Walsall fielding at least 6 first teamers (plus more on the bench) this evening - here's hoping a few end up in first aid!

Agreed - bit disappointed if we heard no more from him. Here's hoping!

Interesting to see what team Walsall put out tonight at Shrewsbury - hope all their best players get crocked (only time I'm not a fair minded sportsman when it comes to things that may help CCFC !)
