Not nonsense. We brought in 9 players. Nearly all them are now not even in or near the first team (Malaga, Brown, Elliot, Barton all but disappeared). We brought in the wrong players. The fault of Waggott and Fisher and Thorn.

Jennings may be okay in time, but Elliot & Barton seem to have disappeared into the ether, Brown looks shocking, Kilbane looks shot, Ball looks very average. Fleck is a bit of a luxury. We bought the wrong players. Pace, strength, width. That should have been the remit.

Barton, Brown, Malaga, Ball, Elliot et al. Eakin is right. The players we brought in were not good enough. 9 players in pre-season. How could we cock up so badly?

I'm now past anger and tears. All you get from me these days is a shrug.

We have real talent. Too good for League Two. We will walk that league and go unbeaten at home all season. McDonald will be top scorer by a country mile and Baker will run rings round every defence.

McSheffrey is too good for League Two. The guy will be like Messi in that division.

I do rate him. If you read through my posts I have consistently said that we have brought in some good players, but just the wrong type of player needed for this league.

No necessarily useful though assisting if that gets us a goal and we lose 2-1 and he flits in and out of games. That could well be detrimental to the team. From what I've seen he drifts in and out of games.
