Realistic Expectations for Crewe 2nd leg

What do you mean for this season? Surely next season we will be ineligible to enter won't we?
  2. Otis

    Sky Blues snap up striker

Only if he squashes him between two double doors and throws all his weight behind them.

McSheffrey still has eyes on Wembley

Me too. Wondering if MR might try something a little different and play 3 at the back (Cameron, Wood and Edge) and use Christie and Adams as wing backs. We have nowt to lose!

    Crewe

I can already see the Coventry Telegraph back page the morning after the 2nd leg. 'The Wrecking Crewe. Sensational City book Wembley place.'
  5. Otis

    Sky Blues snap up striker

Yep. Who knows, he may just the piece of the jigsaw we need. If Robins rates him I'm very happy to have him onboard.

    Crewe

Well at least you know there's only a handful of them.

Realistic Expectations for Crewe 2nd leg

I did say 'at least 3.' I can see a 4-1 to be honest.
  8. Otis

    Sky Blues snap up striker

Me too. If MR thinks he's good enough that's fine by me.
  9. Otis

    Crewe

Nope. He stopped going in the 70's. As soon as I was old enough to go alone he stopped and has never ever been up again since.

    Sky Blues snap up striker

Maybe we start up a petition asking MR to change his mind and get rid of him! We supporters who sit in our armchairs and haven't even seen him play know so much more than the bloke who is manager of our club and has been watching him closely during his trial. Booo, get rid ... he's crap ...

    Crewe

He's 82. :) He first went up to watch the City at HR back in the 1930's!! :o
  12. Otis

    Sky Blues snap up striker

Nope. Entirely fair and rational to criticise the bloke before he has even pulled on a Sky Blue shirt. He's obviously not good enough and Robins is a muppet for bringing him to the club.

Realistic Expectations for Crewe 2nd leg

Yep. Realistically we can win the away leg. Go a goal up and then of course it is possible. I don't see it as needing a miracle. It's not. It's a tough ask but we can do it and we are much better away than we are at home. Considering we had 25 shots on goal at home I am quietly confident away...
  14. Otis

    Crewe

    Me. He's made of granite.
  15. Otis

    Sky Blues snap up striker

McGoldrick not good enough for Forest. Don't hold your breath.
  16. Otis

    The Away Leg

4-1 to the City. A win on pens.
  17. Otis

    28/1

I'm going to have a flutter too. Still fancy our chances. Tuesday night was a freak. Still people walking around shaking their heads in disbelief how that happened and we didn't win the game.
  18. Otis

    We CAN do it.

If he played like that every week he wouldn't be playing for Crewe.
  19. Otis

    Rebrand to yellow

Very true. People who think we were always the Sky Blues are very wrong.
  20. Otis

    We CAN do it.

No pressure on us now. All but written off. We can play with a bit of freedom me thinks. Crewe need to concentrate and keep things tight.
