    With and Without DMC

    Very true.

    New Striker

Ahh yes, scrappy tap-ins. I forgot that they don't count. He has 5 goals for us. The goal against Preston away and one against Sheff Utd away were anything but tap-ins. Why are you focusing on only 3 scrappy tap-ins anyway? A goal is a goal. The bloke will get 20 goals this...

    With and Without DMC

We just need to play a different way with Clarke. They are both goalscorers, but a different breed. We need to adapt our game accordingly. Clarke looks odds on to bag 20 goals this season. That will be an excellent return.

    Rebrand to yellow

We should demand the change to sky blue and dark blue stripes or a variation upon it.

    With and Without DMC

Because we are crowded out. We have 2 players in their penalty area to their 4 or 5. We are not creating enough space and players aren't getting the clear openings they were previously.

McDonald vs Clarke Mismatch of the Century

Clarke is on 16 goals. There are 14 games left. It is an odds on certainty that by the end of the season he will have 20 goals. If anyone thinks that a player who can get 20 goals a season is crap or that ROD is better, then words fail me.

Wood, 7? A 5 at best I would have said. Would go with Grendel's assessment to be honest, though I didn't think Baker was that bad. Would have probably given Jennings a 6 too.

    With and Without DMC

As I have said many a time. with DMC it wasn't just his goals, it was his movement too. His ability to create space for others. I recall getting shot down by a few on here when I suggested a lot of goals from other areas of our team was partially down to the fact that DMC's intelligence and...

So you are Gary McSheffrey! I claim my ten pounds!

    For Preston read Yeovil?

Probably be a bloodbath on Tuesday cos Preston play Yeovil. That I don't think is going to be very pleasing on the eye for sure.

    For Preston read Yeovil?

I don't think it is snobbish to want your team to try and play good football is it? No-one is denying they are good at what they do, but I felt they very much did overdo the time wasting. Quite subtle at times, but they kept questioning decisions and making out it was their free kick/throw in...

Well, the honeymoon period is well and truly over

Err ... did we not hit the bar then?

    For Preston read Yeovil?

Not quite as bad as Preston, but lots of shirt pulling and niggling and chipping away at he backs of players' heels and loads of complaining to the officials over just about every single decision. They were rather nasty for sure. You may see it as competitive, I see it as cheating. All part...

    For Preston read Yeovil?

We do, but that time that player of theirs went down in the 2nd half. It was right after incessant pressure and we were really on top and pressing. Suddenly, he goes down. Everything calms and Gary Johnson uses the 'opportunity' to brief all his players. Play resumes and we lose the impetus...

    For Preston read Yeovil?

Anyone else sense the similarities. Nasty, bitty, time wasting, shirt pulling, fouling, clogging and a plan to keep lumping the long ball up to the strikers to try and feed off. Trouble is, yet again we had a ref who failed to penalise the opposition for the constant time wasting and delaying...

    Burger Stand in block 15/16

A bloke did eat a horse burger at the ground. He was rushed to hospital but is a in a stable condition.

Well, the honeymoon period is well and truly over

Yes, true. Just saying we didn't play poorly these last two games and the whisker of a post or bar could have made all the difference. Against Preston Clarke scored but was offside and it wasn't given. Today we scored, but offside was given. Such tiny margins. I know goals win games, but if...

Well, the honeymoon period is well and truly over

It's such fine margins though isn't it. Disallowed goal today, the hitting of the bar. Baker hitting the post on Tuesday. We could have quite easily won both games. Had we put in two inept performances I may have been agreeing with you and be thinking maybe the bubble has burst, but truth is...

    New Striker

Don't quite get this 'we need a new striker' call. If anything the last few games has taught us, we desperately need at least one new centre back. I know our attack has misfired the last two games butt he defence has looked very, very shaky for quite some time and it is them that are letting...

    Carl Baker

Just wondering if their goal today was partly down to him or to Cyrus Christie? Christie's throw, but there seemed to be a bit of an argument between them after as to whose fault it was in giving the ball away.
