The businesses that are in Cathedra lanes could have been accommodated elsewhere, it's an eyesore. It's all academic because now they have moved in it isn't going anywhere unfortunately.

But are the goods they're trading covered by a TBT agreement? If not I believe getting one agreed can take years and in the event of a no deal that could be the case for British industry. Of course it would work both ways and harm the EU as which is another reason to make sure we have the right...

    City of Culture Bid

but perhaps they're pissed off because City have been airbrushed out of the bid, perhaps not. I think you'll find people from the other contenders who run their own town down as well, it's not unique to Cov. I personally big the place up a lot myself and always will do.

What are you currently listening to?

Just gave Magic and loss by Lou Reed a spin for the first time in many years. What a great album, albeit a bit heavy going in terms of subject matter.

Match Thread Coventry City - Colchester United Match Thread - Saturday 21st Oct

One thing I would say in defence of McNulty who I thought was very poor on Tuesday, in the first half he took up some good positions in the space between their defence and midfield but the ball never came to him. Our midfield didn't seem to have the confidence to try and pick a pass and opted to...

    Boddy's Programme Column

saw on Twitter that Boddy will be attending the next meeting of the Leamington and Warwickshire supporters. Fair play to him for that and fair play to them, they seem to be attracting some interesting speakers.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Agree with your last sentence I don't think anyone realised the scope of this thing which is why we need to take as long as it takes rather that committing ourselves to unrealistic deadlines.

another arsehole who appears on the forum when the chips are down.

    City of Culture Bid

In my experience a lot of the foreigners I know who have settled here talk it up more than a many of those born and bred in the City.

What are you currently listening to?

Not my type of thing usually either B but I love listening to her, Back to black is a classic. Caught 5 or 10 minutes of her live at a couple of festivals and just walked off as she was hammered and it was painful to watch, the people who allowed her to go on stage in that state need to take a...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I think a lot of people are looking at the final settlement figure when talking about a good or bad deal when in the grand scheme of things that is actually quite a trivial consideration,

    City of Culture Bid

I agree, I would still like it to be successful though for the good of the City. If City ever get back to the Premiership the same arseholes who are trying to airbrush us from the Citys history will be falling over themselves to give us a civic reception and glad hand the players.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

it depends how bad the bad deal is!! But I don't think we will need to sign up to a bad deal as long as we don't hamstring ourselves with an unachievable deadline. And as long as there's no truth in this, it's a blog and I have no idea of it's reliability: How Theresa May is being ‘shepherded’...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

worrying bit at the end though, criticising Corbyn for refusing to consider a no deal scenario. There seems to be quite a lot of consensus from all ends of the political spectrum that no deal will hurt us badly. I think it's vital to hang on in there and get a deal done.

    This says it all...

Know of plenty of far worse incidents than this where the police have and stood by and did fuck all so it's a bit rich them getting involved in what was basically a nothing incident and trying to hit this lad with a ban. After last night he might not be too bothered though.
