    Championship thread 23/24

i think we'll see a few teams hit the top early, and stay there. we need to make sure we get amongst that, which means we need to hit the ground running next season, for a change.

    Summer transfer window 2024

more than happy to give doug the benefit of the doubt, tbh. i tend to do that until they do something that changes my opinion. we're deffo in a better place than we were even a year ago. and there's a very real buzz about the place. i'm sure doug will be tested, and we'll just have to see how he...

Transfer Rumour Raphael Borges Rodriguez signs for Coventry

yeah, i get that. but he likes to run with the ball, and knows where the goal is. we lack that most of the time.

    Tomorrow's FA Cup Final

that's actually my biggest issue with var. it impacts on how much you celebrate a goal. considering how important those moments are to a game, for that reason alone i would bin it.

Transfer Rumour Raphael Borges Rodriguez signs for Coventry

agreed. i was just thinking, with more winger options, saka in the middle becomes an interesting idea. i'd certainly like to see it tried sometime.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

anyway, enough. thanks for the discussion/interrogation. not that it has changed my opinion on any of the issues discussed.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

don't describe my views as a problem. i give them a lot of thought, as it happens.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

i'm talking about people i know. members of my family. i'd know if they'd inherited anything.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

i don't have kids, so have never used any of those services that i pay for. i've also never been in an ambulance, or had the need to use the fire service. but i am, of course, happy to pay for all of those things. i needed dental work, and had to pay again. not fair.

    yes.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

we don't seem to have universal health care. i work, so don't get dental care. people who i know who don't work, do. that's not fair. breakfast clubs for school kids isn't really an educational thing. it's an attempt to win votes, at the expense of the working man. it can't be too difficult to...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

1, agreed. some of the savings made should go to nurses and doctors pay. 2, i've paid income tax (along with all the other taxes we all pay) for nearly 40 years, yet i don't qualify for free dental care, apparently. doesn't seem fair to me. 3, universal polices aren't fair. don't give money to...

    Tomorrow's FA Cup Final

fair. point. but it can't hurt. especially if you have forfeits if you miss. there's only so many times you can jog around the training ground. might help focus the mind a bit.
