this story is obviously bs. for a start, if we were looking to build a new stadium now it would have to be bigger than the cbs, surely.

does anyone else remember bus strikes in the early 80s. they were fun, weren't they. i used to live in longford, but go to blue coat. didn't ever cross our minds to call anyone if the buses went on strike during the day. they'd let us out early and we'd walk home.

we went a few years ago on one of our visits to berlin. amazing stadium. the surrounding area is interesting, too. we also went round the old tempelhof airport, which is well worth it if you have the time.

yeah, i remember being up there for a few games in the mid-70s. usually in the corner of the west end, but if it was busy we might end up in the spion kop, and i do remember being up in the crows nest a few times if it was really busy and we got there late. not a particularly pleasant...
