Match Thread Sunderland vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 13th Apr

It's getting to the point where Burge is praised just for doing stuff he should be doing as a matter of course.

    Brian Richardson.

I've said a million times on here, I really can't remember a big appetite to move from HR. The new East Stand was brilliant, they could have done that on the remaining three sides and had a tidy stadium more than adequate for our needs. The Ricoh should have been named Richardson's Folly.

What attendances will we get at "shared" home grounds ?

I hope it isn't St Andrews. Don't fancy wandering around there on a dark winter's evening.

    If we move

    Plymouth. That would be worse.

    If we move

Fair enough, we all have our own preferences. Thinking about it though, Sixfields would have negative connotations from last time, so a new ground probably would be better all round. MK would be a nightmare. Burton OK and Walsall OK, I suppose, it is just the M6 that puts me off.

    If we move

If we do groundshare then I do hope it is Sixfields again. Easy to get to, parking, lots of food places around. Wouldn't be keen on Burton, Brum or Walsall.

    If we move

I don't think anyone would disagree with that statement.

    If we move

Agree with that. All the negativity and hatred was outside, once through the turnstiles it was fine. We were surrounded by old fans and families. A nice atmosphere.

August 2007: COVENTRY CITY COUNCIL has hit back at claims that they are holding up the proposed takeover of the Sky Blues and Ricoh Arena. Both the council and Arena Coventry Ltd, who run the complex, have reiterated that they have still not received a bid for the stadium from Manhattan Sports...

These guys. From Les Reid, The Observer, October 2012 October 2012: A COVENTRY council "confidentiality agreement" gagging councillors from revealing secrets about negotiations with the Sky Blues or its owners Sisu over the Ricoh stadium has become, well, not exactly very confidential. Yes...

What the stadium means forCoventry HOW MUCH WILL IT COST? £120 million for the whole development. That includes £70 million for the stadium and conference centre/exhibition centre and dining room complex. The rest is a 120,000 foot square leisure complex which could include a swimming pool or...

    Timeline Of Sorts

For a while I copied and pasted articles from local press, websites, etc regarding the building of the Arena and all the subsequent shenanigans. I'll start posting some on here if Nick thinks it will have merit. For example, this a month after the Council first tried to woo Wasps.: April...

    No, he didn't.

    If we move

I'd go. Prefer Sixfields to Burton though.
