Both. Also, wasn't he the one who had a fit celeb girlfriend?

Pask able to cover right back, centre back, so probably don't need him. Still think it's midfield/winger/sriker cover before defence.

I don't have bad memories of him as a player. Will have a lot more experience under his belt now.

(???you can't actually improve on than that????)

    Kastaneer, Allen, Godden

Tend to agree with that. I like Allen, as he is busy, always on the move and looking for a positive pass.

Transfer Rumour To put things into perspective.....

We've lost several of our better players: Contracts run down Player asked to leave 3 on loan players returned (to play at Championship clubs) we have moved from our home We are 2 games into the season, with our most impressive pre season performer yet to appear Yet - we have 4 points from 2...

Although the result is poor, we should be berating the officials; if it had been one decision - that's football, but at least 3.goals/penalties they cost us. If we'd won 3-0, there would have been none of this angst (and yes, of course I'm gutted)

    The same old cliche

Heard most of MR's comments post match, but did anybody ask him how Allen (or Kastaneer) is re: progress? Maybe in the Exeter game he may experiment with 2 up top? (or do we think that unlikely?)

How is that not a goal ??? Not one of their players appealed - and the Bako goal earlier - who was meant to be offside there?

    2 games in

Off to Malta on Tuesday (and will be glued to the internet until I get back for the Gillingham game) Allen will help lift us when he is fit. Not worried yet, but I expect if we go on the Peterborough forum, the Sunderland forum, thee N Rovers forum et etc they will all be 'we're doomed' etc. We...

Saw him in 2 pre season games and he pushes the ball into gaps and can turn a player (also scores goals). My only concern about him is his injury. I have no doubt about his ability from what I have seen of him.

All different when Allen back. Very frustrating, but it's one game (and although we didn't win and weren't very good, we still deserved to win. Denied clear penalty/IES, at least one offside goal wasn't! Different attitude on here if given.

If he's on the pitch , you have to play him down the middle for his aerial threat.

The glass half-full side of me will take this view if it ends up 0-0. Don't think I will be in the majority, though, Will be curious to see if MR takes issue with the officials or his players if we don't win. Not there, but for me it sounds as though the ref has definitely looked to take pity on...
