Transfer Rumour Liam Walsh season loan

Will certainly stop anyone getting complacent, and allows players to recover from knocks, preventing them being out for longer.

Transfer Rumour Liam Walsh season loan

If Allen was a deep muscle 'tear' and close to recovery, why are people now suggesting he needs an operation. Thought MR had explained the situation last week.

Damn, thought his name was O O O Kellyinthemiddle (did think O O O was a strange Christian name)

Transfer Rumour Liam Walsh season loan

Allows Jordan Shipley to move to left if Kastaneer unfit/Hiwula is not on his game. Offers a bit more flexibility and cover. Also we haven't had a Liam in the first team for a while (waits to be corrected!!)

    Transfer Rumour Joe Newton

If that is ever sung by our fans, I'll pay your mortgage and buy the whole crowd a beer (unless it's at Man Utd away)

Not sure if this is a better picture or not? Bags under the eyes - maybe the call of duty reference was near to the mark!

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Walsall Match Thread - Tuesday 3rd Sep

At least if/when JJ comes back, he can have a flat pitch to try and twist and turn on. Let's hope it's not a twist followed by a shout!

    Deadline day rumours

Jobello will get there as he adapts, Kastaneer needs to get fit. When Allen is ready, I'd be tempted to move Shipley back out wide (but only if Hiwula/Kastaneer don't pull their weight - particularly away from home)

Match Thread Oxford United vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 31st Aug

If Hiwula doesn't get back on it, we could miss Shipley out there and have Kelly, O'Hara, Westbrooke as the midfield - would make us more solid.

That won't happen - we can't afford to throw money away.

Kastaneer and Max have to play to help get match fitness. If Westbrooke is to be replaced by O'Hara, I agree - let him play in this.

TLS Oxford Report - The Gift of the Dab

You tell him Pete ! To be fair, I think he;s right about the slightly 'pragmatic' approach to defending leads. The main problem is neither of our current wingers are a) holding the ball up well enough or b) adding a lot to us defensively - this puts pressure on the rest of the team, which will...

    Jamie Allen

And after that is Burton (don't like the idea of bringing him back for that one, as he may well overdo it against his former club). So for me - it's the game after Burton!!

    Rose tinted glasses

This may be where we have to find out how to use O'Hare effectively. The way he plays you can see him turning games into a basketball style game. he has such an attacking intent that it will be great when we have the ball, but I suspect his positional play defensively may leave us open to...

    Emotions

We were pushed back in the second half, as nobody was holding the ball up, further up the pitch. They were better than us, but that must be measured against a very average performance by us. A few players below par, and so it was commendable to still bag 3 goals. Can't wait for Allen to recover...

Never felt we were fully in control of that game - I said in an earlier post it would be a back and fore game, and it was. Given how we were missing Mason, I'd have taken that beforehand.
