    Burton sold out

Have you seen bradwell's earlier post?

    Changing a winning team

As long as Walsh keeps doing this as in the Blackpool game, above - we'll be fine. Edit: the pitch is beginning to cut up a bit worse than I remembered from Saturday

See you on the coach to Burton, Shipperz!

Couldn't get past this bit, unfortunately

    U23 v Hull

You will always get the odd one that doesn't work out. Some players need an arm round them, some need a kick up the arse. Remember everybody saying about JCH - 'wish he'd get angry'. At least the team is doing brilliantly. Perhaps Baka is saving it up for the second half of the season - a slow...

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Blackpool Match Thread - Saturday 7th Sep

I have wondered since if he just wanted to hear some ;love; from the fans. As you suggest, usually reserved for when a player has been getting stick (and I reckon most have been supportive of him)

    A Different Coventry

I think there are a few of the top teams who will beat each other, so to pick up points against the likely contenders is key for me. Said in an earlier post we look quite capable of winning at least 15 of our 22 'home' games (4/4 so far, and if we beat Wimbledon that would mean winning only 10...

    U23 v Hull

Think we're going to have to call U23 games off if this carries on! I bet MR is glad the Bury break is coming up to allow one or two to recover.

    U23 v Hull

214 of those were at U 7's, though!

    U23 v Hull

Annoying, but better that he comes off if it doesn't feel right. Hopefully will return quicker as a result. Didn't think we would be able to cope without him - how wrong was i?!

    U23 v Hull

Thanks for that = makes me laugh that facebook have decided what the nature of the injury is from afar!

    U23 v Hull

Allen has done the right thing - annoying, but better to come off than risk further injury. We've done fine without him. Frustrating, but these things happen.

Best start to a league season in 26 years

although we have beaten one of that contenders group at home, and drawn away at 2 others.

Don't rule out Burton, if they steer clear of injuries (although I suspect their squad depth may hamper them as the season progresses)

Match Thread Burton Albion vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 14th Sep

Rose went off with an injured groin, so will be at least one change - hard to leave O'Hare out?

    Would JCH have fitted in

Wow - never really thought about that (including Sutton?) That is a bit of a strange one. In his defence, he does score a few worldies!

    First choice midfield

No-one said they are not good enough. People are picking their 'best' team - we have a strong squad, so good players will miss out. Will always be injuries, so don't worry, they'll get games (plus we don't get to pick the team!)
