Same age as me, and made me laugh last night, as an old acquaintance who I hadn't seen for years was taken aback by my age ('you don't look that old' says he, until he then saw Garry Thompson, I told him that he must be a similar age to me and he quickly reappraised his earlier assessment of me!!

My main football injury in over 40 years of playing came about as an 11year old toe poking the ball at the same time as a player kicked it towards me - two of my toes dislocated and ended up folded back towards my ankle. I didn't often use the toe poke over the following decades!!

What's funny about sets of football fans is that if you go on their forum, they think that although they are playing really well, they are wary of us too and think that they may only get a draw - all fans seem capable of turning their next opponents into Brazil in their heads!
