    We want to go home.

Not true. I would love us to be back in Coventry. It's as inconvenient for me as it is to others to travel to St Andrews. I would rather we were back in our own stadium sans Wasps, but I would go back to the Ricoh tomorrow, although I don't particuarly like the place.

Makes no difference to me. I love the shops there, the places to eat and drink.

    We want to go home.

Not true. I still go to Cov quite a lot with the family, even though YOUR football team no longer play there. Fargo is one of my favourite places.

Ah yes, 1974; I can just about remember the furore over it.

    We want to go home.

Going out on a limb here: likes Farage, voted to leave EU, doesn't like 'outsiders' in HIS city.

Joined Sunday and got "Cov" in his name. I'm not worthy.

    We want to go home.

My first City match was 28th October 1972, my 7th birthday. I lived in Southam. I have been going ever since, been a season ticket holder for decades. I have never lived in Coventry. As an 'outsider', do you think I care or not?

    Colchester fan in peace

My sister in law lives in Colchester and we went to visit a couple of weeks ago and came down for the New post game. Nice little stadium, plenty of parking and a free programme too. Very impressed overall. I'll be happy with a draw.

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Southampton U21 Match Thread - Tuesday 5th Nov

Decent second half. Max played well. Also decent performances from a few of the youngsters; Bapaga, Drysdale and aYoung looked good when he came on.

Racism from home end on Saturday

If people see their politicians being racist without any condemnation or punishment then they will start to think they can be racist too. Brexit has given racists more courage.

    Colchester tickets

Me and my lad went to Colchester on Saturday as we were visiting my SIL who lives there. It cost £32 for the two of us and he's 13, so pretty expensive. Free programme though.

Tend to agree with that. You would like to think he changed it because we were crap not because Hiwula had a "knock".

And he isn't starting games, he came on at half-time and, like it or not, changed the game completely.

    Transfer Rumour Player Ratings

Hiwula needs to be rest and so does - controversially maybe - Shipley. He's been pretty poor for a while now and hardly ever completes a pass to his own team mates, I'd bench him too. Walsh was pretty average last night too.
