Did Fisher come across as grasping the seriousness of our situation??

That has to be their best option. I can see the point of hanging on for a miricle if we were breaking even but playing away from the Ricoh and having to build a new ground surely means we'll be racking up huge losses. I can't see any reason for them to stay and haven't been able to for a while...

    When Tim Fisher says...

Everything is for sale at the right price, there is no way in the world if someone walked into Fishers office today and offered SISU all their money back they wouldn't take it.

So TF admitted that during Sisu's reign accounts have been submitted wrong

There's a difference between saying the accounts are a mess and saying the accounts have been prepared in a way that constitutes deliberate fraud. I took it more as the way the accounting was done made it difficult to track what was going where, I seem to recall when BR was around there was a...

Are we any closer to finding somewhere to play this coming season?

The thing that is strange is if, as people keep saying, the share will be with Ltd why are the FL talking with TF about a ground share and providing him with lists of acceptable grounds?

would be surprised if theres been no interest purely on the number of goals he got last season. does seem pretty settled in Cov but anywhere but here must be tempting with all this going on.

I would guess any offer from the FL to place the GS with Holdings would require no legal action to be taken. think they did something similar with Leeds.

I've got a bit of software to rip iplayer radio to mp3 to stick on my ipod, I'll grab them when they go up in case they need to be referenced in the future.

administrator is selling Ltd, TF is saying everything is in holdings. its therefore up to any potential buyer to decide for themselves if there actually is anything in Ltd worth buying and also the possibility of potential legal action from SISU if they don't get the outcome they want.

    TF explains how ........

Realistically they're not going to start building that quickly (ie: before the start of the season) even if they are serious, so how much evidence will the FL require? Once they're allowed the move you can imagine it's fairly easy for SISU to string it out for a while.

    TF explains how ........

TF could go quite far down the line with this without being too much out of pocket couldn't he? Could buy the land with no intention of ever building a stadium, so long as he doesn't pay over the odds can be sold on later and get that money back. sure you can buy plans for a stadium 'off the...

    If it is Brandon...

Wouldn't read too much into this. Doesn't seem like there's much substance past the other 2 sites saying SISU hadn't bid and the guy selling Brandon saying he wouldn't say who the bidders are, not really much to go on!

    Possible Bidders Strategy

If the money is still showing as owed to AVRO or whatever other fund it came from then strictly speaking has any money actually been lost? If I owed the bank 100K on my mortgage the bank hasn't lost that much, I just haven't paid it yet!

Football League meets tomorrow (Wednesday 5 th)

With Portsmouth the former owner was actually someone who had loaded the club, under a previous owner, money and had ended up taking ownership when there was a default on the loan. The big issue was that there was a charge over the ground (similar to the Arvo charge I guess) and the...

Football League meets tomorrow (Wednesday 5 th)

The only way this will move quickly is if someone offers SISU an amount they are happy to accept to walk away. You still then have the issue of the incoming owner agreeing terms with ACL or making a deal with the council to buy the stadium, although those could be put on the back burner and a 1...

    confused about pitch

the rugby semi finals were during the season a couple of years back weren't they? Also most pitches are relayed over the summer so having events during the close season will also impact on the groundsman's work.
