    Surely then you’d get all the teams with nothing to play for withdrawing costing teams playing on 2 points per game in all likelihood? So you’d disadvantage teams with an easier run in? Or have I missed something?

    I was being facetious about the marking, isn’t that basically a honour system though? Hard to imagine the parents I know that produce near professional quality homework for their kids not at least hovering and giving help if not outright taking the tests for them.

    Personally I’m willing to bet I’m more likely to lose some paper or a USB disk (or a whole laptop, there’s one with about 20BTC in a landfill somewhere) than Google is to lose my data. But I understand the unease. I guess it comes down to trust. Some people like to be fully in control themselves.

    This is interesting, size of the U.K. shadow economy is 10% of GDP, which is low for a western nation. UK shadow economy worth £150bn So even if we went cashless we’d benefit from tracking/tax collection less than most. Still a hefty prize for HMRC though.
