    Why aren't Cov there?

They make golliwogs in Leicester?:confused:

    According to Walsall manager...

Wasn't aimed at you Torch. You mentioned the disliking of Sisu and I just picked up on that and I was just saying how I personally feel against Tim Fisher. I have never supported Sisu, but at the same time never been truly against them either. I dislike them more and more now though and that...

    Why aren't Cov there?

I love Coventry! Fantastically rich history and it does have some nice parts and is lovely round by the old cathedral and has two great museums and last week I was informed, that apart from London, Coventry has the most drama groups of any city in the UK. We are excellent at the arts. You only...

I dislike Tim Fisher a lot more than I dislike Sisu. I seriously think the bloke should step down and that Sisu put up a more acceptable, understanding face to front the fans. All Fisher does is make the rift greater and I don't think anyone now trusts a single thing that comes out of his mouth.

    Coventry United FC

Sorry, but that's a ridiculous name for a club. It also sounds too similar to Yam Yam Yam. Do we really wamt to be known as the Yawn Yawns?

If names aren't important, as some have said on here, then why don't Poundland just call themselves 'Cheap.' If they had have done they wouldn't be the ever expanding entity they are today. Names do matter. They conjure up a perception of what the brand is all about and create an identity and...

Well then, will someone PLEASE tell Tim Fisher!!!

    Coventry United FC

I think they know the name is crap, but they'd already done the letterheads.

    Coventry United F.C.

No idea why they came up with such a dull, soulless name.

    Coventry United F.C.

A year behind is pretty good for the Mail. They are usually at least 30 years behind in their thinking.

The Daily Mail, 1970, page 5, just under an article about coloured chaps coming over here from the Indies and taking all our bus driving jobs.

If it was always going to be the Ricoh then Fisher has been telling porkies.

    Coventry United F.C.

Nope, I'm pretty sure Hitler did invade Poland. It was in the papers and everything.

    According to Walsall manager...

Well I'm sure that's what Fisher will say.

Gray's gone and Hitler's just invaded Poland.

    According to Walsall manager...

Fisher is going to look really silly if it does have to be the Ricoh after consistently saying we won't be playing there again. He should have left all options open and said that the club would love to play at the Ricoh but were unable to do so, rather than show such intransigence.

Steven Pressley's 8 minute interview on Shane's bbc Cov & Warw. today

Building the team? If Sisu have their way he'll be building the new stadium. All hands to the pumps with Joy as the hod carrier and Tim Fisher bricking it.

Would you support a breakaway/phoenix club?

I would definitely support them if they call themselves Interim Athletic. Sent from my KIS using Tapatalk 2

    Finally getting some publicity

As Torch said on another thread, if the USA can talk to the Taliban then surely Sisu and ACL can sit down and talk to each other. There is a deal to be done. There has to be. Groundsharing and new stadiums are just ludicrous notions as far as I am concerned.
