I really think it’s about the quality of opposition you put to platforms. Too many grifters on both sides take advantage of the extremes of the other side and the poor debating skills of opponents. Not enough long form debates with people who know their stuff and too much Twitter beef IMO.

Shipley has been class. I’m really hoping he can make the step up, just having someone who is clearly made up to be playing for us in the dressing room must do wonders.

Dabo, would be Walsh if he was ours but don’t like giving POTS to loanees. Both class though.

Silly optimism here, but Bristol go up and maybe want to send Walsh out on loan to the Championship where they can decide to extend if he looks like cutting it. I think an extra DM wouldn’t go amiss as we play two and only really have Kelly unless Eccles steps up.

I suspect you’re right on a general point. Everyone will have statues they want to keep, their own line. But only one has gone like this AFAIK, and it had a history and certain circumstances. Others have been removed by the democratically elected councils and people have the chance to vote them...

Mate. There’s been campaigns in Bristol for 20 odd years, it’s only it’s listed status and the fact it’s privately owned that have saved it. Give up this idea that no one had a problem with it. You’re more sensible than this usually.
