The ghost of O’Hare finally laid to rest?

He’s comparing players, and you’re comparing teams. You surely know that doesn’t make sense.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Ofc but there’s a much bigger problem than than this. Private Equity is sucking money and jobs out of the country from every angle. They own the fostering agencies, the care homes, the specialist care centres, almost everywhere the government is spending money they’re there on the other side...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

That’s part of the problem, but biggest single issue is the rapacity of Private Equity. Macquarie hollowed out Thames, loaded it with debt, and dumped it on some other poor mugs to carry the can, in this case ultimately the tax payer. But everywhere across the UK and the US these companies are...

    Jack Rudoni

It’s a lot closer if you compare him to Hamer, but he still wins 12-10. Right now I’m racking my brains for another championship attacking midfielder that I could compare him to. Edit: tried Jobe Bellingham and they are tied

    Jack Rudoni

Rudoni is better. If you go to WhoScored website you can compare any two players. In 25 metrics, Rudoni is ahead in 17, and Coh is ahead in 3. Key differences Rudoni has more goals and assists. Rudoni makes a lot more passes and crosses. CoH has better pass completion (81.9 to 80.4), but Rudoni...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Party who’ve been in power for last 14 years complaining that country is going to the dogs?

Is Lampard actually Gareth Southgate in disguise?

I‘m not sure if the Southgate comparison is supposed to be a compliment or not. I certainly wouldn’t swap Lampard for Southgate.

You need a bit of luck and today we got it. But Simms chasing down the keeper, Dovin making the saves, all these things give you a chance to make some luck. Credit to the ref too, he was really strong against the persistent Wednesday appeals from the players and the stands.

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

1.8bn lol, you know there’s 300bn of frozen Russian assets? It’s held in the US ( I wonder why Trump wants access to the payment systems?). It’s also held in the EU and Canada. The remainder of it is probably unfrozen and held via PanamIan shell companies. Does that list of countries remind you...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I don’t recall any politician before her even having a CV? By all means criticise her for her Policies but this pedantry over her so called CV is getting tedious. If that’s the biggest lie you can find in politics, you’re not looking very hard.

    Binks and Dasilva

I’m surprised we’ve never tried Binks at left back. He’s reasonably comfortable on the ball and obviously brings more height and strength than JDS. Jimmy Dunne of QPR is a similar profile, and has a good season at right back.

Match Thread Coventry City - Ipswich Town [FA] Match Thread - Saturday 8th Feb

Six goals conceded this week, and all of them terrible. I would say it was league one defending, but I saw the Orient game earlier and their defence was much better than that. The reason Bobby Thomas spent half the game stepping into midfield is because our shape was wrong again. The back 5 has...

Match Thread Norwich City - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 4th Jan

I was there yesterday and my god it was painful. At 1-1 I turned to my kids and said ‘we’re gonna lose this now’. Then my son reminded me that he’d said we were gonna lose after the horrible BTA miss. We’ve just become that team that always find a way to screw it up. I remember the Tottenham...

Match Thread Coventry City - Millwall FC Match Thread - Sunday 29th Dec

I think he only drops deep when we can’t get him on the ball higher up. It’s really hard to find a defender who can play and defend at our level. Calum Doyle can do it, but I can’t think of many others.

Match Thread Coventry City - Millwall FC Match Thread - Sunday 29th Dec

the only times we troubled them were when we played quickly, you have to move around a lot when you are playing against a well organised side. I expect Cardiff and Norwich are going to present a different challenge. We‘ll get more opportunities to counter attack, but it will be a proper test for...
