    Deep breath

I thought people had been taking the piss when they said this, says it all really when the person who's supposed to be in charge has to have bodyguards to go to a game. I'm pretty sure if I needed bodyguards to go to work I'd resign.

    ACL independently strong

You're spot on there, they can't even use the fact that there's already a stadium in Coventry against any planning application SISU put in. If they did reject it just because they don't like SISU it would very quickly move beyond the councils control anyway. That's why its never made sense to me...

Season Tickets Sales to Temp SISU back to the Ricoh

Don't think it will be a rental deal, in my opinion the only reason to be so desperate to obtain the freehold is to be able to load it with debt. Get the freehold for well below market value, take out credit against the freehold up to the amount SISU want as a return and then they walk away...

Whose doing the Math at Club these days ?

Totally agree with you there. People can moan all they want about the council and / or ACL but SISU need to formally put in an offer. We're not going to make any progress until that happens.

    last nights attendance

I don't think the numbers they announce are the numbers that get used for tax purposes which dates back to the days before electronic entry where they had to do a manual count through the gate. That means they could, if they wanted to, give out a totally made up figure. I suspect the truth lies...

    on the hill tonight

Can't read what it says but that can't be for football, is it for the rugby? I don't for a minute think SISU have some grand plan to franchise us out to Northampton but you have to wonder if it will cross their mind at some point. Especially if Northampton continue to struggle or even drop out...

    on the hill tonight

Mate of mine, who has a business in Northampton, got a couple of freebies tonight. Not the first time he's had them this season either. Offered me one but I can't bring myself to go to Sixfields. Just gave him a call and asked about attendance. He reckoned about 700 - 800 Orient fans and he said...

Literally thousands not protesting outside Council House

I think there's a problem at the moment that a number of people think they have to pick a side and don't view things like the protest today, NOPM, KCIC as being alongside the trust more choosing one over the other.

Bob Ainsworth releases CCFC documents (OCTOBER 21, 2013)

had another look, there's a story on the protest as the lead item on the website. No mention anywhere of the new documents revealed by Bob or the meeting in parliament, that doesn't even make the live feed thing. not being funny but they've managed to find time and space for "A greedy possum...

    Questions for the day

Think I'm right in saying that since making £1.1m with the club paying a rent of £1.2m they have massively reduced costs. They've restructured their debt and changed the staffing of the company to reduce costs, hence why the could offer a much lower rent to SISU.

    Ann Lucas Statement

Is there not already a council meeting scheduled to discuss the plans for the Ricoh and it's sustainability without CCFC?

Literally thousands not protesting outside Council House

I'm all for those who think the council are in the wrong having their chance to protest but having read their website I'm really not sure what they're hoping to achieve. Of course the headline of the campaign, get cov back to the ricoh, is something I'm pretty sure we all agree with but the...

Literally thousands not protesting outside Council House

Not at all, are you saying that the launch of this campaign will help unite the fans because that's not the impression I get.

Literacy thousands not protesting outside Council House

Fair point but right at the time the other groups are making moves to bring everyone together this new group have appeared to cause further division! I'm not at all clear from their website / petition what they actually want to achieve.

Literacy thousands not protesting outside Council House

Exactly this, the numbers on the hill and at SISU / FL offices have been ridiculed yet 40 people turning up for a protest in Coventry is a 'fantastic turnout' Have the CT ever sent a reporter to cover live the protests on the hill, FL or SISU offices? Not trying to be awkward or start and...

Bob Ainsworth releases CCFC documents (OCTOBER 21, 2013)

isn't he officially the polictics reporter? Given this story involves a local MP and a debate in parliment that must come under his remit although looking at his twitter he seems to preoccupied with getting people to go and protest outside the council house.

Bob Ainsworth releases CCFC documents (OCTOBER 21, 2013)

Have to say it is a bit strange that there doesn't even seem to be a mention of the documents or the debate this afternoon. Would expect them to have a story on both of those, maybe it will show up later.

Bob Ainsworth releases CCFC documents (OCTOBER 21, 2013)

Someone once told me, and I have no idea if it's true or not, that Richardson wasn't actually that wealthy when he took over but was a lot more wealthy when he left. As I say just what I was told so take it as face value unless anyone else has more info.

Telegraph Poll: 66% Oppose the sale of the Ricoh to Sisu

On the same basis should the CT then be giving coverage to the recent get cov back to the ricoh petition. I'm doubt the likes of Cardoza and Fisher have really signed it so that is also easily manipulated as well so if Les Reid is saying the CT poll isn't worth reporting on why is he reporting...
