    Attendances

No,not at all. Everyone I have spoken to has said they won't go. Sunny Sunday, lure of a new campaign and new players and the love of the City though I think will draw a few more in, including a few of those who have initially said they won't go. A bit of curiosity and suck it and see...

    A concern or not?

If we were a couple of divisions clear of them maybe, but not with the two clubs so close and the Northampton ground looking like it might be a lot better than whatever we are moving to anyway.

    Attendances

First game will be close to 5,000 I think. There will be a full house of away fans (1,250) and about 3,000 City fans. Do think it will wane very quickly though as Autumn an Winter set in and especially if we start doing badly. Will also have an effect if we start on -15 points. That could mean...

pathetic fans: this is the end of ccfc for me crap: why bother supporting !!

Honest answer here ... do you accept 5 years as just being temporary? What about 6 years? 7 years? When does it not become 'temporary' and start becoming long term? Temporary should be ONE season, not FIVE or more.

    Chairman - Potentialy 5 years!

What a surprise. Financial expert on CWR this morning saying what we all already suspected. No way can CCFC plan, design and build a new stadium in 3 years.
  6. Otis

    Will you go to Sixfields

We all know that it is going to be more than 3 years if this hair brained new stadium plan comes to fruition. And we all know that the FL will grant extension after extension. Could be 7 years easily. Only two things can save us; 1. Sisu and ACL come to an agreement and we come back to the...

pathetic fans: this is the end of ccfc for me crap: why bother supporting !!

Very fair point. It's the £1 million only that worries me slightly. £1 million in the grand scheme of things is just a drop in the ocean. Not even 1 years rent at the Ricoh.

The next move in this chess match

People keep saying Sisu are clever and know what they're doing and have the upper hand etc. But don't think for a minute that the council and ACL are stupid. They must have their own cards up their sleeves. I don't think this is over by a long chalk.

CCFC: The Return to Coventry - August 2016 or beyond

Hope you're right, cos if we're all waiting for a new ground it's going to be a lot longer than 3 years I can assure you.

    Crowds Next Season

First game almost 6,000 (including 1,250 away fans). Will quickly tail off though and I think will average out at around 2,000 - 3,000. Can see some JPT and cold midweek games against such as Carlisle dropping closer to a thousand though.

no more pennies for ACL either!!

If you get ACL out now wouldn't it just be the council who would step in though?
  12. Otis

What if ACL reject the CVA

If people feel this strongly and ACL can indeed stop this nonsense, then isn't it worth fans petitioning ACL and the the council?
  13. Otis

What if ACL reject the CVA

Anything that stops the move to Northampton is something I would support, even though it could really hurt the team on the pitch. We really need to look at the long term here and see past the short term.

Anyone who goes to 'home' games next season is a mug

I can't do away games because of other commitments. Used to go regularly, but that was quite some years ago now. For me it will be radio commentary only this season.

Anyone who goes to 'home' games next season is a mug

Every individual's own choice. I don't see them as mugs at all. My bet is that most of them will be torn about going but love CCFC so much they just want to see their team play.

    Very good idea from GMK

I did do so. That was the last two seasons though, not last and this. Wish it was. would have asked for my money back.

    Very good idea from GMK

Some fans are adamant they are going. If so, we should at least look of ways of them showing that they are not happy about the move.
  18. Otis

    Very good idea from GMK

But those three last points are completely missing the point unfortunately. Some fans WILL go and this is aimed at those fans who are going anyway. They have already decided they are going. They have already decided they are going to put pennies in Sisu's pockets. How else can they go up and...
  19. Otis

    Very good idea from GMK

At least in theory. Anyone who wants to go to the first 'home' game at Northampton, buy tickets for the away end to show that they don't consider Northampton to be their home ground. Problems to be had for sure, but in theory it is a very good idea I think. If it had legs I would suggest that...

    Godiva Festival 2013

You were very, very good it has to be said. I was thinking that the choir would sing well but that it might have been a little dull, but it wasn't it. You went down a storm.
