    Two who frustrated me - Conor Thomas (physique to be so much more assertive than he ever was), and Marcus Hall, who I liked as a person, but never quite looked as comfortable on the ball as he should have, given the level he was playing at. Couldn't believe it when Stoke paid reasonable money...

    Burge had a good game that night. Bayliss covered loads of ground as well - first time I had seen that bit where Nolan kept hold of the ball when Bayliss went to grab it for a throw in. Bayliss just walked away (as we were comfortably ahead). left Nolan looking a right tw*t holding the ball. Funny!
