Disappointing, but still in our hands

As has been said, Southend were quite impressive here. Very well organised and disciplined. A draw would be okay, even though we need a win.

They were indeed and that's why I think a draw will be okay.

Disappointing, but still in our hands

I think the next 6 games give us a good opportunity. Not saying we will win them all or have a run of good results, but it's a fair series of games where we can pick up points. We know in practice it could prove tough of course, but Southend, Scunthorpe, Port Vale, Bury, Shrewsbury, Fleetwood...

Can we afford to do that if we want to be challenging at the top end of the division? The answer unfortunately is no. Best thing is a loan where he can ply his trade and gain experience at a lower level.

Scenario. If City were to win 5 games on the bounce now, or 5 out of 6 (next 6 games are Southend A, Scunthorpe H, Port Vale A, Bury H, Shrewsbury A, Fleetwood H) then you would have to think we would be in the top 2 or very, very close to top 2. We have a brilliant last half of the season you...

Disappointing, but still in our hands

Silly getting in an argument about it surely. Literally of course no it is not in our hands and everyone agrees with that. We win enough games though you have to believe we will go up.

Disappointing, but still in our hands

As I say, both correct. :) It is not in our hands because if the teams win all their games we cannot catch them. By the same token though if we won enough games (a fantastic run) and won nearly all our matches we would go up, because surely no-one would be able to replicate that. As CCFC...

Disappointing, but still in our hands

Everyone is right! :) Would think it pretty clear that if we won all 19 remaining games we would go up, cos no other team would surely replicate that, so when people say within out own hands, I think that is what they mean. If we win enough games then surely we will go up. :)

Disappointing, but still in our hands

Yes, we have to improve our form, but the annoying thing is we are not that far away. Late goal by Oldham at home and Walsall scoring with just 10 mins left, same too with Sheff Utd. It's fine margins. We either need to be able to see games out or finish teams off. Not sure too much needs...

    Our Defence

Well, just going off his Wiki page here, but it does say Hunt can play left back. That would allow Stokes to move back central and Ricketts to shift over to right back.

If he needs to learn let him do it elsewhere on loan. He might come back a far better player for it.

I don't usually even have to admit it, people just see me sitting there with the tiny moustache and dodgy ahir cut.

When was the last time Hunt played full back? Anyone know?

Going to be a very interesting one, Carolina v Seattle. Really can't call it. The NFL used to give both sides a possession in OT didn't they? Sure that used to be the case, but then they changed it. Think it should be one possession each and then first score wins.
