How would you feel if we...

Sky Blue is not our "tradition". Before Jimmy Hill rebranded the club my most significant memory was blue and white halves, and I remember a song about "the boys in blue and white"

    Ticket office staff losing jobs

Well when we renewed last Thursday we were served by a very nice and helpful lady. She told us she was being made redundant mid June. But in truth she was inputting to the Ticketmaster web site, which I, aged 73, could have done from home. Except she had the facility to override the condition...

    Is anyone else getting

It's not that puzzling. When SISU bought the club it was, allegedly, hours away from administration Arguably had the club gone into admin it might have emerged better off than being bought by SISU, but we will never know. It might not have emerged at all but most clubs do. When SISU put the club...

    Official Season Ticket Sales 16/17

We all went to the Butts Ticket Office together and the very helpful lady there sorted it out for me. From what she told me I think your idea about linking to friends with Junior STs might work. Thanks.

    Official Season Ticket Sales 16/17

Just tried to renew mine on line. It recognised me and my seat number, and invited me to renew, but wouldn't let me renew because I sit in the JSB area and wasn't buying a junior ticket. I have always sat in JSB area with a friend and his niece and this season were joined by another friend and...

Has James Maddison played his last game for Coventry City?

Actually it might be better for Maddison if they do. He's more likely to get a game.

So if CCFC won something significant we'd just quietly move on would we?

So , what are our owners going to do now ...............

Ashdown, I didn't say they would invest so can't see why you disagree. Your comments reinforce my opinion. They will hang around waiting for a miracle or windfall.

So , what are our owners going to do now ...............

Since our owners are unlikely to walk away and admit a loss to their investors they will not leave willingly until they can get some money back. CCFC aren't worth very much so there's nothing to sell until the value of the club is increased by promotion. By Premiership standards Leicester have...

Not about CCFC but could be

This is an article by Harry Rednapp in today's Daily Telegraph. It's about Leicester's success but a lot of his comments on passing football could be about CCFC http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/05/01/leicester-prove-you-do-not-have-to-play-the-barca-way-to-be-succ/

    Armstrong

I think he's played too much football and it shows. I analysed his goals. He scored in 11 games, and in 7 of them scored 2 or more. More telling was that the only goal he scored when we lost was a penalty. Not sure whether that tells us anything about him or the way the team plays with him.

    Lamieres Goal

You can't blame anyone for taking a shot when they're clear on goal.

Tony Mowbray encouraged by quality of free agents keen to join Coventry City

Who would want Westwood and Gunnersson. Free agents so must be crap:sarcasm:

    Ricketts misses final two games

Agree with that. Absolutely no reason to risk Willis, and anyway he knows the set up. I wouldn't want to risk a youngster before he's ready but if he's ready in August he's ready now. I remember a couple of seasons back when we started with a youngster who had only played a couple of games...

August 6th. Early start to next season.

Northampton away end is limited. In past seasons they have overflowed away supporters around the corner, but now that stand has been rebuilt. the provision may be different (If it's open of course) I think ST holders get first dibs on away tickets.

    Ricketts misses final two games

Agree that we should play someone who's likely to be around next year, rather than Hunt. I haven't got anything against Hunt but I don't expect him here next season. While it would be nice for Armstrong to get his 20th goal, he's already had his chance and he's unlikely to be here next season...

Season ticket next season? Yes or No?

I'm disappointed about the back half of the season, but I am a supporter and will continue to go. Mind you. I'm coming up to 73 so don't how much longer I'll be fit enough to go, so I'm not going to miss any games "on principal".
