How far we have fallen and how far will we go?

They only have a loyal active fan base because we have had nothing but misery for the past 15 years +. We have success and we will easily match Southampton's fanbase for League One. People seem to keep forgetting we have had no success whatsoever since 1987. No play-offs, no promotions, no cup...

    time to stop going

I know the desire is for the club to own their own stadium, but at the end of the day it is all about revenues. The Ricoh would be perfect as a rentable option if revenues can be negotiated that are favourable to Coventry City FC. And we all know, if were we back at the Ricoh and City were...

potential names for new ground ??

Think if we were to be named after a sponsor it would be The Poundland Arena.

Yep. I just feel the less fans go the quicker a resolution needs to be found.

    time to stop going

If we won 3 or 4 in a row, Grendel, the attendances would rise, albeit not vastly. We somehow made it to the top 3 and I think they might well be 3,000-4,000 there. As City fans we all want the club to do well and if we do do well fans will want to go. I agree with you that no fans is...

    time to stop going

No, it's not fact, Nick. What is a fact is that about 1,200 - 1,600 approx are going to Sixfields every home game. Sisu obviously want this to increase and while some people DO go there is always the chance that attendances could rise if we started doing really, really well. As it stands Sisu...

No, this one's a different story. This one is spelt with an 'e' (Storey).

How much would you want Sisu?

Pure guesswork, but I guess if someone offered them 20-25m they might go for it. If they truly do want to make serious money from this club then it's going to be many, many years down the line for sure.

    time to stop going

I have my own opinion and my own opinion is that we should all boycott Sixfields games. It is just my opinion though and everyone must make up their own minds. We cannot demand people don't go, we can't intimidate people into not going. We can discuss the issue sensibly and with strong...

Would you support CCFC in a new stadium built by SISU?

Obviously much prefer us to play IN the city, but that is not my major concern. 5 miles isn't much at all. The issue though is one of taking 5 years+ to build a new stadium that will be much smaller and further away, when we have a perfectly decent stadium already here. As I say, the issue is...

Would you support CCFC in a new stadium built by SISU?

Not a simple yes/no question for me. 'When' is a very critical issue here. They build it in 5 years time and thousands of City fans may well be lost forever ..... me included. Think after 5 years most of us will be entrenched into a life of being an armchair fan and watching from a distance and...

    Lack of ambition

Well that's my thought too. Surely it is cheaper at the onset than to have to call construction workers back in 2 years down the line with increased raw material costs to boot.

Must be so frustrating for the family. So many false dawns. Let's hope enough evidence can be found to finally arrest and charge the perpetrators.

    Lack of ambition

I wonder here, and this is a serious question, is there a massive difference between the cost of stadiums based on capacity? A cost per seat? Just wondering what the difference in cost would be between say, a 12,000 seater stadium and a 15,000 seater stadium? Can only think it would be the cost...

    Lack of ambition

12,000 isn't enough if we have success. If we have success it won't be anywhere big enough. We were top of table then Wolves at home would be about 20,000-22,000. Sounds to me like the club are not banking on any success.
