The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

absolutely no idea. Bur if there are any they didn't push to leave the EU and then move their investment fund headquarters to the EU I'd wager.

hid old man once said, "the best time to make money is in chaos", I think Jacob has taken that advice one step further and has decided to instigate the chaos as well.

Rees Moggs stance on abortion is based on his religious beliefs which he seems to use selectively when it suits cherry picking the bits that fit his agenda.

Second referendum : am I missing something ?

we do, because even though they sell around 65 - 70 million more to us than we export to them their loss will be spread around 27 countries. But as I agreed with you, this will hurt everyone.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I didn't say it wouldn't be easier, I pointed out the timescales in an earlier post and said our trade deals should be able to be negotiated more quickly. I said I doubt the terms wouldn't be as favourable.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Just had a quick look and will look into it further but apparently we can only sign roll over deals once the withdrawal agreement with th EU has been signed and the we have to have all deals in place and signed off by the end of March. So it looks like they have us over a barrel. I'm not sure...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

It's a nice idea. But would you give the same trade deal to 1 country that you give to a trading block of 27? And if you were the 27, would you be kissed off if they did?

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

no they're not. You're not grasping this. If two countries don't have a trade deal they deal under WTO terms. If they agree a trade deal they trade under the terms of that deal. We have free trade with the 27 members of the EU and trade with around 50 or 60 other countries through our membership...

Second referendum : am I missing something ?

no it was submitted jointly with the EU. it was rejected by, among others, Australia, USA and New Zealand. The UK and the EU have fallen out over the terms of the revised schedule. But you can see the difficulties we're going to have with other countries not just the EU.

Second referendum : am I missing something ?

but that's exactly what we'll have to do if we don't have a deal. Hopefully we'll get one and the more favourable the better. Problem is, I can only see that if we stay in the customs union which will cause ructions.

Second referendum : am I missing something ?

our WTO schedule, was rejected, it wasn't the EU who rejected it, Australia and the US did, who are supposed to be our new best mate trading partners.

Second referendum : am I missing something ?

we can't start negotiating until we've officially left. We don't have everything in place.

Second referendum : am I missing something ?

they will be, they take on average 4 years to negotiate and implement. They don't happen in days, no matter what Liam Fox says. Edit: That's based on USA figures. EU ones have taken much longer but obviously that's dealing with a block of 28 so the UK should be able to negotiate more quickly...
