Coventry town centre (non football related)

I think he misheard. Someone shouted at Sisu, 'Let go, pricks!' and Tim heard it as 'Lego bricks.'

That is a shocker!! Did they do the artist impression mock up using Lego? :o

Coventry town centre (non football related)

That's the one, thanks Ferret, Friargate! The rail station does look well outdated and needs to be enclosed to incorporate retail, so hopefully this will do just that. There is a banner over the the old sorting office stating the project is 'coming soon.'

    Ricoh Arena Has New Tennants!!

And that is what pasties are really for. They weren't really devised for eating down the tin and coal mines, they were invented for throwing at the locals. From that pic I would deduce the pasties had rocks in them.

Coventry town centre (non football related)

Around the cathedral in Coventry is lovely. Unfortunately they designed the city centre in a way so that everyone pretty much circumvents the cathedral area and walks around it rather than through it. There are 2 shopping projects awaiting. One by the old postal sorting office in Bishop Street...

Won't stop us all guessing and speculating though will it.

    Ricoh Arena Has New Tennants!!

Oooh, this could go on sometime.

    Ricoh Arena Has New Tennants!!

Exactly. The decision is baffling at best. If they are happy to have some non-league team play some games there then they should have at least offered some local team the oppotunity.

    Ricoh Arena Has New Tennants!!

And why would Sphinx not want to play there? My guess is that no non-league club would ever think it is feasible to play there. Surely no-one in their right mind at that level would think it feasible. Now some unknown youth team is going to suddenly play there though, then obviously it has...

    Ricoh Arena Has New Tennants!!

Yes they do, but why can't they play 8 of their games at the Ricoh? No-one is saying for them to play there every week. Why not help a local team out? And just think how fantastic would that be for a team like Sphinx to get the opportunity.

    Ricoh Arena Has New Tennants!!

But why isn't it someone like Cov Sphinx? Isn't the Ricoh supposed to exist for the people of Coventry? Surely if anyone should be playing there at the mo it should be a Coventry team.

    Ricoh Arena Has New Tennants!!

Sorry, but this is just a joke. Fine to let a team play at the Ricoh, but if someone is getting to play on it for next to nothing then surely a local Coventry team such as Coventry United or Sphinx would be the way to go. Why some youth team from a completely different county? It's daft at...

    £750k for Leon Clarke

Fantastic price for him. We were never going to get a million. £750,000 for a 29 year old journeyman with a history of injury niggles and alleged attitude problems is excellent business. He has never commanded such a fee before so it is a great deal for us for sure.

    We're a complacent lot....

What about wrapping all the City fans on the hill in gigantic sticky tape to form one great bit rolled up carpet and then get someone to push them from the top and make them roll down the hill. With the momentum of the the decline, by the time they got to the bottom, Sixifelds would go down...

Sky Blue Trust Open Meeting on 03 February 2014 at 07.30pm at Squirrel Public House Be there. If we really want to make a difference as you say, we need to rally. Have to hold my hand up and say I am just as guilty in my inaction, but fully intend to be there on Monday evening, Talk is...
