He's doing a Ben Stevenson 'sick note' prior to a move, I reckon. Doesn't want to be injured before the transfer window.

Really happy Danjuma and King are out, and that Brookes is on the bench. Our big lads at the back need to get hold of Surridge and Solanke and then I'm feeling more confident. Cocky Bournemouth fan predicting comfortable 4-0 win against a side that has been assembled for about £3m. Come on City!

Danjuma is their main man at the moment, but if Brookes and King play tonight, it will be a good result if we pick up anything. I do hope that MR gets brave if we are struggling to get Godden in the game and throws Baka on to support/ replace him, as I think conditions tonight may be crying out...

Gustavo and Fankaty - both to get booked. Odds on !! Won't care if we win!

Off piste (again) but Brentford look very strong (been watching against Fulham) Just hope some bugger buys Behrama before the window closes. They are going to spank a lot of teams in our league (Blues struck it lucky to play them first game, before they have got going) Hope we can pick up...

Friday night - stormy weather. A place on the bench at best. Although I wouldn't mind if they started him against Dabo.

Yes, but maybe the bloke struggled to recreate the entire scene in the bedroom and got lost in the moment. I'm sure there is a Willie (Carr) joke in there somewhere, but I've got to get on with family stuff, so I'll leave that for others!

Surreal 'ooh err, missus' post off the Bournemouth forum 'I dated the daughter of Ernie Hunt, he of the infamous free-kick, that was banned. Trust me, I bent it round her wall !!':oops::oops::oops::oops:

Stormy weather may be on its way. Storm Dennis(or some such name) may make it a bit wet and windy. Let's have a few corners for our defenders to attack!!

    Wembley goals

Phil Neal (penalties!) Would have thought that one or more of Robbie Keane, Strachan and McAllister (missed that pen!) have scored there.

    Wembley goals

Charlie George Haven't checked, but taking into account internationals, Gerry Francis must have scored there Terry Butcher? Stuart Pearce Kenny Sansom (?) Daniel Sturridge I reckon the list will end up being over 30. comfortably.

Barnsley in Bed - TLS report

Usual quality. Good read. Easy on the alcohol intake!

    McNulty

But he is/was a better level than League 2. When you look at PL players and how fit they are though, McNulty never looked fully in shape in his Hibs/Sunderland games (i,e looked like he needed to shed quite a few pounds)

No - very clever by Vardy, but the Maddison goal was a thing of beauty
