Agree. Lawrence for Derby looked ok, and Rooney still has technique (but not the legs). They will definitely be bottom half this season. Watford had a lot missing and will be a threat this season.

Haven't read much of the thread, but I wish the government would shut everything down for 4 weeks, give all adults (18plus) £2-3k each to cover that period, so that people can pay bills, eat etc. Businesses don't have to pay staff for this period and hopefully we disrupt/break the threat of this...

But we needed more depth in the squad with a higher level of quality. Walker may or ay not turn out to be great, but there was a consensus that we needed more depth in the attack, so we can see why they went for him. Similarly with Sheaf - we know Kelly will pick up knocks, so needed more cover...

Grealish, Maddison, Mount, Foden (Bellingham to come) England have a lot of creativity in midfield. You do need one Rice like holding player, but not a team including Rice, Phillips, Dier and then having full/wing backs and wide players constantly turning back towards their own goal. Not sure...
