Sounds like Burton are in deep financial trouble.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

It's actually a 9 game season for everyone else in contention except for us & Wycombe

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Yes I would happliy take PPG but I'm confident we would do it the right way if it came to it, and silence all those other team supporters who would forever bring it up. 7 points advantage with a game in hand, 2 over Sunderland. 3 defeats all season. Playing on wouldn't worry me at all.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

What?? I would have no problem in completing the games, but going into a playoff group would be totally unfair. To be honest if we failed to get promotion from our position if we resumed, then we wouldn't deserve to go up. Don't forget if we do get promoted, next season will be a lot harder than...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Published by the Telegraph which in the past week has written editorials containing such statements as Coventry are top with 34 points, and Rotherham are currently 11th in the league.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

I get the feeling Wycombe are not that bothered, going on Ainsworth's comments and the fact that they are not included in the "magic 6". It seems more important to them that they survive financially. It's a shame we can't play our game in hand against them, even if we lose it, it won't make any...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Yes, I pride myself in having been to at least 80% of the entire 34 years of home games, and can honestly say I never felt too despondent about losing streaks. Obviously any loss is a disappointment whatever division we are in, but I can certainly remember the excitement that went with winning...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

I think the prospect of including playoffs as an option is difficult because there are too many possible variations. Including the top 8 teams for example wouldn't be fair to us or Rotherham. The only way that could work IMO would be to decide the final league positions based on sporting merit...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

I get the feeling that more and more people who basically oppose the idea of cancellation / deciding promotion are now accepting it, some are suggesting tweaks which they see as making things more fair but virtually no-one thinks we shouldn't be promoted.

    Can we compete

If we are talking about being relegated, or struggling in a division we haven't even been promoted to yet, than we might as well give up. IF we do get promoted I'm certainly not going to be thinking about relegation before a ball has even been kicked. Lets wait and see, if we do go up, what we...

    Championies, Championies

How insane would that be I said in another post Fleetwood played Portsmouth in games 31 (Feb) and 35 (Mar)

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

I really can't see how they could do that, for example Fleetwood played Portsmouth twice in the league in the second half of the season. On 10th March (game 35 for both teams) and previous to that, on 22nd Feb (game 31). Not all teams play everyone once in half a season, so that would defeat the...
