We should urge FA to block Hedge funds from owning clubs

True, but we'd be the first to complain on here if another club did it. Seemingly they have gone into admin and come out pretty much scott free. The 10 points didn't hurt us one little bit.

We should urge FA to block Hedge funds from owning clubs

What we have done is entirely wrong on the admin front too. You have to admit that. I'm sure rival fans think we've pulled a fast one. To only put part of the club in administration is plain wrong and shouldn't be allowed. You go into admin, you go into admin. For Sisu (or any owner) to still...

    Ignore what Timmy Fishook says..

It's all this question of 'beneficial ownership' though isn't it. This is where the waters are muddied.

Who on here will renew their season ticket if SISU re purchase CCFC Ltd?

What players? Can't see us attracting many and what happened to the 'more first team squad to be released.' Just been the initial 4 and then a few kids. All gone quiet since then. Guessing Pressley is realising he might not have many players left.

Who on here will renew their season ticket if SISU re purchase CCFC Ltd?

Well if you can afford it and disapprove the move, I can think of no better way of supporting CCFC than by only going to away games. You still have the Sky Blues in your veins and you're still supporting them, only it will be just at away fixtures only.

    Sisu's own rules under Frc

Just thinking. Is there any possibility whatsoever you think of say PH4 buying the Arena (or part share) and the golden share, but keeping Sisu onboard in a joint capacity, with an exit strategy in place for when we are promoted? Sort of working in tandem with a promise to pay Sisu off in the...

Who on here will renew their season ticket if SISU re purchase CCFC Ltd?

Well that's it. Moving out of the city, planning on building an 8,000 capacity stadium and reduced to selling stuff from a large wheelbarrow. This is where we are, this is where we are going and the slide into the dark recess gathers more and more momentum with each passing year.

Who on here will renew their season ticket if SISU re purchase CCFC Ltd?

We are going to struggle surely aren't we? To bring players in we need season ticket sales and money from merchandising, like new kit etc. We haven't even begun to sell season tickets and when we do the figure is going to be incredibly low. And how on earth is the 8,000 in the future going to...

I think crowds of 6,000 - 7,000 are wildly optimistic. Besides the many who will refuse to go, there are many more who even if they wanted to, either can't afford it or can't go. I'm pretty much in all 3 camps. 1. I won't go because we won't be playing anywhere even remotely close to...

Who on here will renew their season ticket if SISU re purchase CCFC Ltd?

I predict it could be the Conference by the time the new stadium is built. My guess is crowds of around 3,000 this season at Walsall. We're going to struggle big time on that.

    Tim Fisher on the Radio

Maybe he's only saying that cos he knows that in 3 years time we will be playing in the Conference.

Stay at the Ricoh and I'll be there whoever's in charge. Move out of Coventry and that's me done. Sent from my KIS using Tapatalk 2

They think its all over - it is now!

As Wingy says, they have to prove beneficial ownership. You can't just take their claim to it as the gospel truth.

    Psgm1 the merchant of doom

Go for a beer, go to the park and fly a kite .... or just grab a can of Vimto and a straw and go off into the attic and build a nuclear missile out of Lego and stickyback plastic. Then when your mum's giving you reward stickers and a shiny badge for doing such a good job, come back on here and...

    Preston Haskell.

Can he bag the club though rather than just half of ACL and stadium? Without the club there's no way we're playing at the Ricoh is there!

    The Future of CCFC

Well that's what I'm thinking. They allow someone to buy Ltd. and with it the golden share, but then ask for a huge fee to transfer the rest of the club to the new owner.
  17. Otis

    Golden Share

Guess the question is, will the likes of PH4 be willing to buy Ltd., half the stadium and the surrounding land and gamble on getting the rest of the club later?
  18. Otis

    Golden Share

Was just thinking that a new owner could try and distress Sisu in the same way Sisu are seemingly trying to distress ACL. If a new owner got Ltd. and the golden share then they would be a strong position in one sense and as we have all said, a new owner wants the surrounding area, not just the...

    Golden Share

Put this on another thread OSB, but is my thinking correct here? I know it's all very convoluted and confusing and very muddy. It's all very muddy, but am I right in thinking that the club have to have the golden share in order to play in the football league? If some buyer therefore bought Ltd...

    The Future of CCFC

It's all very muddy, but am I right in thinking that the club have to have the golden share in order to play in the football league? If some buyer therefore bought Ltd only, who would then own the golden share, doesn't that mean that the Sisu led Holdings Sky Blues can't play in the league...
