Not A Penny More: The Petition

As I have said eleventy billion times, make this campaign 'not a penny more if City play away from Coventry' and it would get a great deal of support. City play games at the Ricoh in Coventry and people WILL continue to go.

Not A Penny More: The Petition

We need a petition to stop anymore petitions.

Not so sure. I've seen lots of little fokkers play for the City over the years.

It's still a groundshare though isn't it, so what about the Not One Penny More campaign? :thinking about:

Cool! I know the Yanks have their scores all back to front, home team last, so just wanted to check. Cheers FF. Must try and get to a game one day. Is the season still on when the City start playing at Walsall in August?

    Australia Vs Iraq

I reckon if I get the no 37 from Pool Meadow now I can get there for the early hours of Wednesday morning. Will the game still be going on?

    Disaster

Also, we get liquidated and start way down the leagues there will be no way we'll be playing at the Ricoh anyway and would then still have to find a groundshare. Defeats the whole object surely?

    Disaster

If we play at the Ricoh how can any fan who attends games be contributing to the death of CCFC? Surely the opposite. If no fans attend there may will be no club. Boycott the move away, sure. Understand that fully. But to boycott games played by Coventry City in Coventry at the Ricoh just...

    ACL isn't letting this drop

It depends though Sutty. Very much depends on the validity of ACL's assertion that Sisu were going to liquidate. If true then it was the right thing to do. If it was just empty words and they fell for it then yes, a disaster. Guess we may never know how serious that supposed threat was.

sisu buying us out of administration is a good thing

I too thought you were doing okay until mention of the stadium. We get high end of the Championship or in the Premier we will be so much more than a 20,000 - 25,000 seater stadium club. The Ricoh is one of the finest grounds in the country. Nowt wrong with it apart from the lack of atmosphere...

Season tickets: to buy or not to buy?

Can't say I dislike Sisu anymore than I disliked Richardson, McGinnity and Robinson to be honest and i kept on going up when they were in charge.

Season tickets: to buy or not to buy?

What did people expect when we signed Leon Clarke? A 20 goal a season striker who would also really work hard, had stunning pace, better vision, would help defend, could tackle and was better in the air. Would have made him worth about 5m of course, but what the hell.

Season tickets: to buy or not to buy?

No, agree with that. Look at Yeovil though and look at their squad and players. Better players than us man for man? An awful lot of it is to do with team spirit, hunger and desire. You need that, a strong defence and a 20 goal a season striker. Definitely doable. Not if we move to Walsall...
