Never gonna happen away from home against this lot. If it had been another home game after Stoke I think Robins would but need the extra body in middle
Tbf I'd imagine weemans post is based off the robins interview which has said as much.
He basically said he will assess Eccles today but should be okay and that Kane is touch and go.
Not sure we should be worried about the run-in if we are hoping to make the play off's? Kinda counter-intuitive given the fact we would have to face those teams again if we managed to break the plays off anyway.
One game at a time and see where it takes us.
I think it will be 50/50 at least. Don't see the point in giving a 28 year old a 3 year 1/2 deal if he's not going to be an important player. Think they'll be picked on a game by game basis based on the opponent.
Ultimately somebody has to come in and do the job. And it has to be someone who tows the party line. Boddy has improved the club on a number of levels so of course fans are going to be happier. I'm not sure we can ask for much better under current ownership tbf.
He's got a good future but he was incredibly lucky not to give away a penalty against us. Seems very rash and certainly not a certain starter over any of the players we have at the back currently.
Seems very strange from wolves just to recall him for 2 games though.
I have to say the best 45 mins I have seen from him was at Lb/LWB, when he played there in the JPT a few years back.
Long-term it's not a solution but it's good he's playing his part today.
It is "bollox" in that it isn't a standard rule across all loan contracts. It may well be in some players loan deals. But it isn't a defined rule. Each loan deal is bespoke.
