Haha - part way through the game, I was about to moan at one of our players for nit closing down one of their players, then realised it was the ref!!

He needed a break G; he's played a lot of football recently. You may not like him, but I think James is a decent player at this level and provides a calming influence on the pitch which I think will become evident in the more 'achievable' games (i.e. not versus top 3!)

Glad Toney and da Silva are out, but Ghoddos, Canos and Forss are still a handful.

Unfortunately Van Dijk is still injured and Gillespie is no longer with us.

Very surprised he's starting Kelly. At least James is there if it goes t8ts up, but i would have eased Kelly in a bit at a time. Don't mind if he runs out of puff, but annoyed if he pulls up with injury.

The one good thing about the play offs/relegation places nowadays is that there tend to be less 'nothing to play for' games until right near the end of the season. They are really horrible. Nothing worse than seeing a team 'on the beach' unless they are playing against you!

You could play 10 at the back. but if a player gives the ball away to the centre forward, to allow him through on goal, you will still concede. That wasn't a formation error, it was an individual error. I hope we find a way to cut those out to give ourselves a chance. Next 2 (possibly 3) games...
