Totally agree. Lampard's reputation as a player rather than a manager seems to be the driver here. It's easy to think how King (I now refuse to use his first name) would be seduced by that player reputation and the "name".
Similar. I was in a MacDonalds after the game and again a few of their fans were complimentary on our second half performance.
All of then said it was mad to sack Robins and they would all have taken him if not for their new guy, who they seem to love.
And he'll be gone by next summer if he fails and King will promise to get the next appointment right.
I have a bad feeling we're entering a period of disruption, a new manager ever 18 months or so. Breaking something that didn't need fixing in the first place.
I hope to God it isn't Lampard...
Yeah. Collins was good. Have to admit when my lad read the team out my heart sank a little, but fair play, he was good. His header after the poor back pass was good too.
Just seen the highlights. How on earth are people complaining about Collins for their second? Maybe Binks should have tried to put a tackle in. Or maybe one of the other three defenders around him.
I actually don't think we've been too bad. Both good goals. Rudoni has bee disappointing. Can't blame Collins for either goal.
I would bring on Norman at HT.
