    O'Hare bids

Wrong. The club do want/need to sell one of the club's best assets. What we want is £6 million clearly so? Of course Robins doesn't. But I'm sure he also wants a £50 million transfer kitty.

    O'Hare bids

What are we basing him being a £10 million player on? Maybe with add ons yes but certainly not as a guaranteed fee. £6-7 million guarantee is a good fee in my view. Hard to replace of course, and he's key to the team but I'm not sure his output justified anything more.

What are Liam Kellys Hamstrings made of?

You'd only do that if it was a pattern though wouldn't you? It's not like 3 players went down in the first 10 3 games in a row. It's a 30+ year old with a history of hamstring injuries

Same in all of the public sector again though.

    Train strike 30th July

Military have had the same split (admittedly less of a difference but also far less overall). But then again more experienced teachers are at the top of their paybands, they have prioritised the lowest earners which is the right thing to do.

Heard the money is going to be reinvested in Roy O'Donovan coming back with Carl Baker taking on the O'Hare role. Great business if true. Also heard we might be taking Cranie back on trial.

He has a relatively cheap release cause in his contract, imagine he will go just a case of when.

Your footballing ideology seems to be about 15 years out of date... Withstanding that, striker is probably the last position to strengthen as it stands given our budget constraints.

Is this debate really suited to the football element of the board gents?

    Pre Season 22/23

I don't mind 4-3-3 in principle could really suit some of the team... Just not sure we quite have the forward players for it... Playing 3 out and out strikers up front will make for a very narrow front 3, making it potentially easier to defend. Will be interesting to see how Robins has it working.

The two teams aren't even comparable, nor the managers, nor the negativity around the club. Talk about overdramatic. 🤣

Has anybody said we shouldn't replace somebody if they go? Think the difference is the realism to know it's not going to be half of the fees received...

    Transfer Shouts

But we don't make money? We lose it and unfortunately that's the point. Of course every fan would love it if we could spend 4/5 million of a 10 million sale but it's not a reality when we have lost more than that in past 2/3 years. So people are asking us to gamble with our future as it would...

    Transfer Shouts

If we assume it is Panzo, then will be interesting to see who the LWB is... Alvaro Fernandez at Manchester United is well thought and has rumoured championship interest. Or maybe Owen Beck from Liverpool - although linked with a Portuguese move last week

Great finish. I think back to the Barnsley second game of the season and honestly believe it had such a big impact on the strikers at the club. What could have been if it had turned out differently. Walker looked really good that day before he injured his shoulder. Gyokeres missing the pen...

    Transfer Shouts

They are comparable for the level we are now at. People often forget walker was our top goalscorer in his first season here, before last year at Portsmouth his scoring record at lower levels was good. I'm not saying he is going to be first choice. But I'm not sure why people think we are...
