    O'Hare bids

I was thinking that. I assume Derby still owe clubs for signings they made (Arsenal?)

    O'Hare bids

It's nice to see some posters now applying some logical thinking.

    O'Hare bids

We've signed 3 new players, and apparently a LWB incoming, and only lost 2 so far

    O'Hare bids

He's got sky blue blood in his veins, he won't resign

    O'Hare bids

He's in a no lose situation for the coming season to a certain extent. If we do well it adds to his status, if we don't he could just say he was constrained by lack of budget and everyone would believe it.

    O'Hare bids

    You've got lots of mates

    O'Hare bids

Despite what people think I don't think we are under any immediate pressure to sell O'Hare, because we are in the unusual position (for us) of having several players in demand. any one of 3 or 4 could go at any time in this window for a significant sum. Burnley will know that if we sell Hamer...

    Transfer Shouts

The other thing that could make a difference this year is injuries, or possibly / hopefully lack of. Last season we were without Godden, Dabo, McFadz, Kelly, Eccles, Waghorn for significant parts of the season, and Gyo played a number of games with an injury, add to that the amount of games...

Are we allowed to sign from the womens leagues...

I don't think it will be long before we see some pre-season warm up / friendly games played between the women's and men's teams. Should get a better idea of progress then. I sort of watched the England V Norway game (I think it was) and the Norway goalkeeper looked dire to me.

    O'Hare bids

If he goes, whatever the fee it won't be all up front, so need to moderate expectations of what there will be to spend if anything

    As it stands

It's likely that with one up front, Godden will start on the bench but he will play some part in most games when fit. The high press high energy game needs 2 strikers ideally to play the lone striker role.

    O'Hare bids

What is the first thing that happens when a club has money to spend? The price of players they are interested in goes up. Under Sisu we have always pleaded poverty, only to then find some money. I doubt if even MR knows what he will get to spend if we sell someone, and if he did he wouldn't...

Transfer Rumour Kasey Palmer - Confirmed

Any think it's very unprofessional? Leak in the camp

I would say it's very useful for the club to have forum members with inside knowledge, who are trusted and able to shut down any false rumours etc. and also to keep interest going without giving too much away. Only yesterday we had a poster (I assume, from subsequent posts) falsely claiming our...

Looks like they have got a spare leg for him anyway. in the left corner

Transfer Rumour Kasey Palmer - Confirmed

Is that a bandage on his ankle?

    Matt Godden

I think most people would agree goals scored (by anyone who can kick or head a ball) is directly related to the number of chances created. What varies is their conversion rate. The infinite monkey theorem.

    Transfer Shouts

Fulham only managed 13 points from the last 10 games, 3 points more than us over the same games, and then only courtesy of a final day 7-0 win against a Luton team already qualified for the playoffs, and on the beach.
