Yeh I'm sure he'd have given it if the lad had'nt pushed it too far in front of himself .There was a stage possibly through Nov-Dec where I twas impressed and thought we had 4-5 good refs on the bounce ,if that coincided with a decent run of form maybe my view is skewed when we lose .:confused::(

The only thing thats wrong with Carl is he's knackered himself trying to drag these under achievers through the last 4--5 games ,what he really needs is a week off and a trip to the beach to come back strong.

I've thought the refs in all 3 games against the smart Alex have influenced the outcome ,you only have to look at the stats that back it up .The ratio of bookings and fouls given suggest an imbalance or we're a dirty team ,or of course Crewe like a lot of others in this division are very cute at...

I think that was more because most expected Mcsheffery to be off.

I don't think the Refereeing stats are that insignificant either ,had very much the benefit of decisions over these 3 games today included when you're bloke should have had the red card.

Would have been a good idea ,if before our current run against them ,even if it was designed to upset their routine.

TBH they are way above what I thought for this season and like Gary Jones I think around that ,which is where i thought we'd be this season.

Its weird and slightly off topic but playing Crewe feels like i'd expect to feel having played Pulis's Stoke,always seen as culturesd footballers under dario but very much versed in the dark arts currently IMO. NB. About the same size as a Pulis team as well.
