    Tonight’s games

OK - so Sheff Wed and Wycombe have gone now imo. If QPR get anything tonight, this has been a great day/evening for us.

That's fine - I'm all for panic. QPR do have all their usual defence and midfield - it's just the two supporting Dykes who have changed (awaits hill83 joke!!)

For all those annoyed at the QPR selection. Chair went off with an injury (on bench tonight) and Thomas has replaced him, Kelman is the only other one who doesn't usually play (normally Willock) Who else are we mad about selection wise???

It's only 2 players I think, and George Thomas played well when he came off the bench at the weekend.

Take that all day long. I can't see them beating Birmingham (fatigue, injuries etc) and Blues fresh as a daisy. They then have a midweek game against Boro and play Barnsley at the weekend. All physical teams. If they don't win tonight, I think they'll struggle (even if they beat us - spits as...

Good result, as long as Sheffield Wednesday don't win. Even a draw leaves them with not a lot of hope. If Swansea win, then that's Wednesday gone as far as I am concerned.

    Swansea 1-0 up. Get in

Thomas is a clever footballer and at least we know he won't be coasting, having broken into the team. Don't know much about Kelman, but remember a few higher level clubs looking at him a couple of years ago and QPR snapped him up. The rest of the side is pretty much their usual team.

Charlie Kelman - think he was a youngster they signed from Southend, and is George Thomas the other ?

2-0 Bournemouth. Keep the goal difference coming, please.

    Today’s games

Rotherham have mixed their side up - Giles starting. Ladapo up front instead of Smith (saving for our game). If they don't win tonight, I think they've made a huge error. Also looks like QPR have made a couple of changes. George Thomas starting - set up a goal from the bench at the weekend. Come...

    Match Thread Rotherham

Might be a bit of rotation. What they will not be able to do is field their strongest team for QPR and us, never mind Blues. Inevitable they will pick up knocks. What I don't want is for any of our players to lose their heads in that game if it is going against us, as there are other big games...

    Match Thread Rotherham

If they do not win tonight, then a defeat on Thursday (meltdown, though it will cause) does not become quite so damaging. They will be running on empty (if not by our game) by the Blues game, who will kick them to bits. Subsequent games is where they will fall off the rails through injuries and...

    Rotherham - QPR

Huddersfield v Bournemouth (Huddersfield loss) Sheff Wed v Swansea (Sheff Wed draw or loss) ...are both important to us too.

Rotherham play long ball from the back, which means that the game is likely to be a lot of back and forth. First goal may be key, and a QPR result of any sort would be huge for us going into the game.

Agree - except it would be 6-9pts (not 7-10)

Hope Godden is 100% for this, otherwise I'd replace him with Gyo, who seemed more up for the physical contact last game.

Convinced that won't happen - particularly Birmingham, who will be sharpening their studs and polishing their tattoos in readiness for this. Will be surprised if Rotherham have eleven players capable of running the length of the pitch after that game.

    Madders in the spotlight

Most sides would miss their creative spark. Was thinking earlier; have England ever had such a creative midfield talent at their disposal? Mount, Bellingham, Grealish, Foden, Lingaard, Maddison, Ward-Prowse. Feels like I've missed out someone obvious, too. For me they have to play Declan Rice -...
