Too expensive as a 4th choice. Max (as 4th) plus a new signing to battle for a starting place for me, with Baka binned off. We won't have the budget for major overhaul. Clever use of loans needed again, but I would like our permanent squad strengthened, bit by bit.

I'd like another look at Gyo if we are interested in keeping here beyond this season (don't know if we are, but he has a presence about him that I like)

    Mcfadzean (chapter 2)

Wonder if Drysdale may be 'promoted' to the back up CB role now (ahead of Thompson, Williams?) or will we try and rake in a few ££s for him to upgrade in that area.

Apparently being announced tonight at 9.30pm this evening. Shameful..............

    Everyone still confident ?

Three cans confident - one left in the fridge!

    Safe

I watched PNE's game at Stoke and they quite impressed me. I'm not convinced Derby will get more than a point (if that). Then I'm hoping Blues will still perform (v Derby) now that they're probably safe. Would really like to see Rotherham get on Derby's coat tails, to make it interesting. Enjoy...

That pitch is a great leveller (ironic) when the ground is as firm as that. The ball is rarely on the floor for long, and it becomes a war of attrition, interlaced with bits of skill. Usual suspects immense, though we were just seeing it out in the second half, Godden took his goal well (not...

Anybody noticing how high the ball is bouncing (guess due to the lack of rain). One punt by Ostigard, the resultant bounce reminded me of those old power balls I used to have as a kid.

He is immense in the air; reminds me of Speedie in the way he outjumps his height. The rest of his game has been good too; brave and composed. made me laugh at the the time when people were calling him out as a weak link. Never has been for me, even at his worst.

    Today’s games

Rotherham have (by all accounts) just picked their physically biggest players against Blues, Although their fans seem happy that they have selected an experienced side, they are less happy that all/most creative players are on the bench. Think it is going to be a slugfest (which won;t be a bad...

Haha. They'd been worn, and have his name/French logo, plus signature. Won some nice stuff in a CCFC supporters' raffle.

Most teams in the league will be able to say that about another. Was ever thus.

Less than 10 mins to Rotherham v Blues line ups. Interested to see who is selected (especially Rotherham). Bit sad I know!!

Not saying it's an omen, but I've just had a pair of Max Biamou's boots dropped off at my house, (size 11, in case anyone's interested!).

Glad that Rotherham's game is taking place before ours, so I will have time to decide between donning my a 'bit nervous' or my 'very nervous, extra lining pants'

Have a look at this re: Bristol City and their injuries this season (including, obviously, Liam Walsh! Remarkably bad !!! Amended up to and including Nottingham Forest at Home with the corrections and clarifications by the Posters above. LEAGUE Games only... Currently injured- up to and...

    Next season

Injured I think - although nothing serious iirc, although given the time out, it's a bit worrying. Interesting to see which clubs are likely to take a risk on him given the last 12 months.

    Next season

League 2 ought to have toughened him up (alongside the fatty Evans experience)
