Virgin massively oversubscribe I believe. So WFH will have hit them as their models Will assume low home usage during the day. I’ve just moved to my Dads, I was on Virgin and it’s drop like Rich says, but generally OK. Dads on Vodafone is it’s fucking terrible. I’m having to use my mobile to...

You think we’re self sustaining? If not my point stands. I’d have thought the word “apparently” would’ve given you a clue as to how much credence I’m giving it.

Our owner is worth $2.3bn apparently. The only thing we need to worry about financially is her getting bored. (off topic: I love you coming on here and getting people frothing. Makes me chuckle. Looks like you’re having a decent season, enjoy it)

Hope so. Ideal scenario would be a deal signed for next season complete with pitch quality guarantees. Then we just have to stay up, or we do the promotion season properly this time in Cov with no COVID :D

Keep the fans off her back while she tries to distress the Ricoh is the theory I guess.

Honestly my biggest worry is CCFC (probably correctly if I’m honest) seeing a season ahead with no fans and a large break clause penalty and have no appetite for this season. Then any peace has to hold until next summer. By which point literally anything could’ve happened.

    Mutton resigns!

Eh. I don’t think local councils have much to do with local lockdowns. At least they’ve been complaining they don’t. I could see it on a direct hypocrisy charge. But on a rule 90% of people admit to breaking? Seems like resigning over a speeding fine. I dunno. I generally have a higher tolerance...

Oh yeah totally applies to Wasps re the talks. Also applies to CCC for not seeing Sisu as worth talking to and Sisu for trying a rent strike without a fallback option. Hubris all round.

Not to go all I told you so, but I did in fact tell people so at the time. We don’t even have a partnership yet. Still, I’m happy for Sisu to piss about if they do it while CCFC play in Cov.

Id argue good will among your customer base is always valuable. Then why were they the ones to end talks?

    Mutton resigns!

Yeah that’s what I saw. Very very low adherence to lockdown rules. I wonder if they account for that when designing the rules or if they assume a certain level of compliance.

Yeah I just want us to be in Cov while we sort anything. Five years away minimum just isn’t sustainable.

    Fresh Ricoh talks

No. From what we know Wasps wanted long term and CCFC didn’t. That didn’t stop a deal being agreed though, it was just Wasps wanting to use the Ricoh as leverage to stop Sisu suing in the future that stopped it. This is also why the “Wasps really need us” stuff makes no sense as they clearly...
