    Why I decided

Think the thing in defence of Sunday at the Ricoh is that it is just a one off. If they were having games on every week and we all kept going then that would be taking sides. Sunday at the Ricoh is a plea for the club to come home.

    Why I decided

Well 14, yes, I agree he should have more independent choice. Again though, if the parent is taking them then the parent's wishes have to be taken into consideration. If my daughter when she's older wants to be a Tory MP then that's of course up to her, but no way would I take her to a party...

    Why I decided

I won't have a go at anyone for going, but your logic there is twisted. We make our kids' minds up for them every day. We chose what we feel is best for them, be it swimming lessons or learning to play the guitar, which schools they should go to, what subjects they should concentrate on...

    Why I decided

Totally your choice of course. The logic though for me is that ACL need the club and the club need the Ricoh. Because of the total impasse, we basically need both sides to fail. We need for Sisu not to be able to cope being at Northampton and for ACL to struggle without the club at the Ricoh...

    Webster signed !!

Yeah, but there's favours and then there's favours! Can't think of a worst choice of a club than us to join at the moment with all the turmoil going on.

    Webster signed !!

He may well be a great signing, but why hasn't anyone higher up the leagues or a top League One club snapped him up?
  8. Otis

    Webster signed !!

Yep, a Scottish international. You have to therefore ask yourself, how come we got him, why has he chosen a club in turmoil and why has him to come to a club who could very much be in League 2 by next season? Why hasn't he gone elsewhere?

Cameras at Sixfields could cause problems....

Just occurred to me that the various sponsors who have hoardings around the ground there will do okay by this won't they. They'll have twice as much coverage. They will be easier to spot too for City games with rows and rows of empty seats behind them.

    ACL seeking franchise

Thing is, when you analyse it all thoroughly and think about it with a clear mind then the answer really has to be that fans don't go to Northampton and ACL don't bring another sports team to the Ricoh. Needs to be shown that Sisu cannot operate in Northampton without the fans and the Ricoh...

    Stop the split!

I'm the same Astute. Didn't even know we were playing on Tuesday til someone put a thread on here 'Who's going tonight.' Cannot get excited, not bothered about listening to the game on the radio, can't be bothered who they sign or don't sign. I'm just drained of all my enthusiasm.

    ACL seeking franchise

We all thought Sisu moving to Northampton was bluff. We were wrong. Let's hope this is bluff too otherwise it could seal CCFC at Northampton for possibly 5 years.

    ACL seeking franchise

Yep, exactly what it is. Tactics.

Why did you become a Ccfc fan in the first place?

I was born in a little old town called Coventry.

Deal with them but put caveats in place. It's the only way.

Tim Fisher - "you'll be back after 3 matches"

Disappointing if true. I thought the whole point of this was that the club was being taken out of its city and plonked some 34 miles away, not that we should start going up if we suddenly start winning.

If hell freezes over it will be that much harder to get there anyway.
