Yeah we fundamentally lack a decent ball carrier. It's all good having players that can pass the ball, but if you can't take it in tight spaces and take players out of position then it's very easy to defend against. For all our attacking talent it's one thing we lack further up the pitch.

Correct it was the the standard version. And yeah you are right it isn't suitable for the journey regularly (classic MOD contract which isn't suitable for what we need it for!) There are plenty with advertised range of 300 or 400 but much like the standard MG they never really achieve this...

He has played RWB. He has never played RB, and he will not play it well. I agree he does have those qualities. But let's not put the only player who has consistently performed this year in a position to become a boo boy by playing him a very different role.

Indeed, he just doesn't put in a challenge. And I mentioned earlier in the thread he's been told not to overlap which just seems to make him even more redundant. Bidwell in when fit for sure.

LB is still the major issues it means whoever is there is playing for two defenders at the moment. JDS just gets bullied.

Tbf the first 5 minutes had intensity which dropped as soon as the Cardiff players stopped pressing the CB's. At which point they can't work out how to break the press. Need better movement in the middle.

Yeah I think it's clear the way FL wants us to play but also clear he's only had 2 days with the team as the midfield lacks fluidity.
